Kamuela Villa Lagoi Bay Bintan

my kids had diarrhoea after swimming in the private pool. I wonder how often it is cleaned, as there is no chlorine, and I spotted a frog in the pool at night. should have just gotten a better hotel without a private pool. the fire extinguisher in the kitchen already passed expiry (Feb 2025) while my vacation here is in June. the toilet choked 2 days in a row as the flush was not strong, and with my kids diarrhoea, the experience was horrific. we had to run to lobby to use their toilet there. a lot of mosquitoes in the resort. breakfast was served to room but not appetising at all. we had to keep watching our food as birds and monkeys can enter to steal food. the whole kitchen and part of the room was infested with ants, leaving a cup with sweet drink brings their colony in minutes. the housekeeping staff also missed out the towel and toothbrush for the additional pax in my room even though I paid for the additional pax fees. word of caution to holiday goers, choose a better hotel if u want to truly enjoy your holiday.

Kamuela Villa is a quiet and private stay for us to unwind during our stay. A few minutes walk to Lagoi Beach. Staffs accommodate to our requests timely, thank you! Kamuela also has a taxi service to toyris location and our driver reccommended excellent food at the hawker and in the village area.

The hotel offers a fantastic stay with friendly staff and modern amenities. Rooms are clean, spacious, and well-equipped. Prime location near main attractions and public transport. Breakfast buffet was varied and delicious. Minor noise from the street but manageable. Highly recommended for both business and leisure travelers.

Villa has big living space but the pool is not well maintained with visible green algae. Aircon was not cold.

We stayed for 3 days 2 nights and didnt really enjoyed our stay. The place was rather dark and overall wasn't as clean as we like it to be. The pool wasn't functioning most of the time, we had to ask the staff to assist to switch it on. Breakfast was boring and choices were limited. We ordered the bbq and were presented a pricing to sign off when the food arrived. However when we were checking out, the price they showed wad a different, higher pricing which took us by surprise. They tried to brush it off by simply cancelling away what we signed off, and we had to talk to them about it. Overall felt that villas stay are not for us!

Very nice villa, spacious room with high ceiling and cold enough aircon. Purchase came with breakfast of choice 1 set each. Recommend the western breakfast Exclusive and chill place. Close to warung yeah which had nice mee bak so.  Feedback swimming pool tiles had green stains, definitely due for some cleaning.
