Hotel Indigo Bintan Lagoi Beach by IHG

Have stayed in at least more than 20hotels in my lifetime, this is by far the most beautiful and serene hotel ever. Splendid lush landscape with multiple seatings that allow one to relax while immerse with the landscape around. This place just let you reset your busy lifestyle. Love the multiple pools for kids to explore and kids club to entertain the kids. The rooms are superb and clean. Staff are also very courtesy, attentive and hardworking. Everyone walks around with a smile. Bicycles are littered around the estate that allow you to grab and go (the place is quite huge, so a bicycle actually helps alot!). Wifi access is superb too, everywhere we go, we got wifi access (better than our esim!) Guess the only let down is the pillows that seems abit too soft and the food choice is quite limited and not the best tasting, also they are quite expensive. But well, the hotel rooms, staff, amenities are enough to distract us off these small negligent negativity. As such, still 5 stars from us! We had a really enjoyable stay. The rooms were clean, amenities were plentiful and beautiful, in particular, we really liked the soap and antique displays. The staff were polite and adhered to our requests promptly and with care. They greeted us with a smile whenever they saw us. There is a turn down service where they will come round at night to ask if you need anything before turning in. There would be a memo (via WhatsApp) to inform guests on the activities available to do for the day. The swimming pool and poolside bar/restaurants were really nice as well. We also had easy access to the beach. Only downside is that there are not many touristy activities to do near the hotel (barely any cafes or shops) but the hotel did provide free transport to plaza lagoi and back. We ended up spending most of our time at the hotel. You also can’t order any food in so you’d have to eat at the hotel/room service. Would come back for a stay again.

The hotel is new and clean. The beach is just behind the hotel. Everything was good except that the quality of the bbq seafood is not as fresh.

There are several blocks in the resort and we were assigned a room in the block closest to the pool/beach so we had a really good view! Note that there’s no lift in this block since there’s only 2 floors. Environment and room are very comfortable. All staff are very nice and friendly too. We went for the tanjak souvenir making class and it was fun! Some downsides: •A lot of houseflies and mosquitoes especially after it rains. •Some dishes with chicken or beef, the meat can be a bit tough. But there’s enough variety to choose from😊

Great hotel for kids. Make sure to use the kids club at the adjacent holiday inn. Bring socks for the indoor playroom

Service started right after pass immigration at the ferry terminal. They provide free shuttle to the hotel from terminal and we were surprised they already have our name on their list even though we did not inform them we are coming via ferry. Good service from all hotel staff and I love that we can get their help and services via whatapps instead of calling the reception or walking to the lobby. As there are nothing much to do in the hotel, a short staycation would be enough. Breakfast buffet was ok, would be better if have more choices. We had dinner at Stix Satay Bar and it was good.
