On a roadtrip from Cairns to Sydney, we needed just one night after coming down from the Atherton Tablelands. We reserved a family room which was perfect for us - great views over the rainforest, clean, towels provided. This hostel is super quiet and peaceful. The common area is spacious and also looks out over the rainforest. The kitchen was well stocked and clean. Bathrooms also super clean. There is a nice cafe and bar as well. Highly recommend if you are passing through the area and need a bit of a break.

Really lovely hostel and a great place to come and relax. Highly recommend. Worth mentioning that there isn’t really a shop close by so bring some food with you if you don’t have your own transport. The Mission Link shuttle is excellent - very easy and great value and service. Lots of good walks around and gorgeous views. The property is stunning. Also worth mentioning that there are a lot of mosquitoes given the location so make sure to bring bug spray. 10/10. Thanks for a lovely stay

Very good hostel! Clean rooms and good showers. The cocktails and sandwiches are great. It’s a nice place to relax while traveling. It is a bit remote and there are no parties, so it might be more enjoyable to go with someone rather than alone. The staff is super friendly, and you can also rent bikes! The only thing I missed were shade and lounge areas by the pool.

My fiance booked jackaroo treehouse as a stop on our east coast adventure. A great hostel in a lovely peaceful surrounding. Clean facilities and a great onsite cafe/bar. Thank you to the lovely owner for dropping us into town when we missed the shuttle bus.

this is without doubt the best hostel me and my friend have been staying at during our time in australia! the staff is amazing, the facilities it’s so clean and nice, pool and rainforest right outside the door, food to buy and shuttle buses. It no byo alcohol allowed but made the hostel a calm and peaceful place. could really recommend

Really nice accommodation set in the middle of the rainforest. Facilities were good, didn’t have to wait to cook in the kitchen or use the bathrooms. Being in the rainforest there’s a few bugs and mosquitos so bring some spray and you’ll be all good! The owner Rob was lovely and gave some great tips about different things to do around the area. Beds were really comfy, but there weren’t any plug sockets by the beds in the room i was in so it’s handy to have a portable charger
