Edgewater Inn - Biloxi Beach

A roach was seen on dresser 😞really just need to be updated but the staff was very friendly and nice pool was nice just had grass in it from getting grass cute

This is a tough one. PROS Location, Location, location!! Layout of the cottage and size are perfect. CONS dirty Unmaintained Neglected I read previous reviews so I went prepared with a bucket of cleaning supplies and shower shoes. It was 5 of us in one of the cottages which are connected by a large porch (perfect). But the porch is dirty and needs maintenance. The floors inside are sticky. But the kitchen is very functional. If the owner would put the money back into his business it'd be great!

Awful!! The room was filthy! It should be closed down! The bathroom was moldy and had an odor. We had to go out and buy towels and blankets just to have some sense of comfort. Do no waste your time and risk your health. Please choose another property. The “front desk” staff was zero help. They just stared at me asked me what do I want them to do. We checked out before our stay ended

Do not stay here is you are looking for cleanliness and security. If you are looking for a bed with a roof over it and a free shuttle to a run down ****** then you MAY be ok. The room was nasty and in desperate need of repairs and updates. The bed linens appeared clean but the pilling on the pillows and sheets were horrible. Ceiling plaster was falling down, tiles broken on the floor, bathroom was gross (except the toilet did appear to be clean), stains all over the walls and headboards. I am not sure how this place has a 4/5 rating. It is across the highway from the beach, so it is not "beachfront" and there were quite a few people hanging out in the parking area that appeared to be transient/sketchy. Just don't.

Older hotel but rooms were nice, clean, and the staff was wonderful. Everything was sanitized. Really enjoyed my stay will definitely stay again. Was centrally located to everything. Loved the restaurant recommended by the staff. Also gave a Waffle House discount card my favorite breakfast restaurant, which is located in front of their parking lot. Thanks guys for making my stay great 👍

First of all, when we got there and was given the key card to our room on the third floor, we walked in and it was disgusting, literally disgusting. The toilet was horrible, the toilet paper was all waded up on the roll, the bathtub had dirt all in it, the floors were filthy. Under the beds were nothing but dust, pony tail holders and tampon paper!!!!!! It stunk! I demanded to be moved. We were about to be put in another room, second floor this time.I was annoyed by this point. Then they say, it’s not clean, you’ll have to wait. Magically they went from “sold out” to we are putting y’all on the first floor. Third room- They had just mopped, smelled good so I thought all was well- wrong! So annoyed by this point,Went to make a cup of coffee, we’ll you have to go to the office to get cream and sugar IN A styrofoam CUP!!!! Upon looking at the ceiling…Fire alarm wires hanging out, mold around the water extinguisher, the light had dust all around it… I pulled out the nightstand to plug in my charger and what do I see… dead roaches and mouse droppings. Neverrrr again! I even refused to sleep on the sheets and blankets, went and bought my own and two cans of Lysol. Think twice before you stay here unless they do some major improvements!! I told my husband we goanna need tetanus shots by morning. Yea, it’s that bad. Get it together Edgewater!!! It wasn’t like this a year ago. We’ve stayed here several times throughout the last 5-6 years, always liked it. Will not be returning.

1000 out of 10 recommended! The best place to stay in gulfport ! Edgewater Inn is quiet, cozy, CLEAN, and affordable! By far the best staff . Super friendly and nice . We stayed and even though we had a minor door issue we were upgraded to a cottage where we instantly fell in love with the room ! Thank you to Ms Lina for the excellent help and generous care !

The AC works good just a bit noisy. Beddings are fresh and clean. There are so many off things. Room 210 is aged needs lot of TLC. The carpet and the stools are spotted dirty. The walls have holes and dirty spots special in the bathroom. In the bathroom, the drain cover on the floor not secured and the tub faucet is dated it look like it was installed in the 80s the chrome was peel off and corroded. The wash sink faucet crack and the bath towels were falling apart when use. This hotel was above 3 stars with the previous owner. The pictures on the internet were very deceiving. It is sad! May be 1.5 stars.
