Casitas Tenorio B&B

Our stay was safe, clean, and surrounded by beautiful scenery. The included breakfast was a nice touch every morning. Bijagua was a pleasant surprise with the friendliness of its people and the consistently good food. Rio Celeste is only 20 minutes by road, and we were able to do a night hike to see Tapirs and frogs.

Fantastic little cabin, "Pura Vida". Wonderful location, nice breakfast. We saw a sloth, many types of birds, monkeys, and variegated squirrels, all on the property. The managers, Nana and Jeffery, were so kind and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay there.

The friendliest staff! Breakfast was delicious! The grounds are lovely—we saw monkeys, sloths, toucans! Very close to town so easy to drive for food/supplies. Easy drive to Tenorio park. Our casita was cute and felt very private, great for any family

Beautiful and spacious cabins set in the middle of a zen-like rain forest, surrounded by animals and flowers... what could be better? A hidden gem. The rooms were nicer than the photos and I was happily surprised by the microwave, fridge/freezer and kitchen sink in the rooms, which came in handy since I was traveling with my kid. She loved spotting the pizote from the dining area which is perfect for watching the wildlife. We had lovely conversation with the hosts and other friendly travelers who went out of their way to show us where a sloth was hiding. They recommended the Jungle Life tour to see more animals and it didn't disappoint! We didn't have much time (and with a young child we could only do the 1 hour tour) and it was jam packed with sloths, toucans, butterflies, frogs and more.

We have a wonderful stay at Casitas! We had the Casita El Bosque, and enjoyed having a separate room for our son. The casita is beautiful, with forest all around. I was concerned about the fact there was no AC, but it was very comfortable at night, we never even needed a fan. Nana and Jeff are great hosts, and we loved meeting them. We enjoyed the farm tour, the small trail on site, watching monkeys, and many birds during breakfast, including toucans! We definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a local experience, away from the large hotels.

Staying at the Casitas Tenorio for the second time was a lovely as the first. Cece at check in was exceptional. Our Casitas was great - private, peaceful and full of bird watching. Breakfast was yummy and the staff was friendly. Highly recommend staying here.
