Freddy’s bungalow is an excellent place for having a wonderful time amidst nature. The property is very clean and well maintained offering serenity and view of Himalayan range. Their mouth watering food and behaviour of their staff will surely win your heart. They arranged for an amazing picnic lunch after a long trek. They offered us with an unforgettable experience. Would love to visit again.

My stay at Fredy's Bungalow in Bhimtal was nothing short of magical. Nestled amidst lush greenery, this charming property offers a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. One of the highlights of staying at Fredy's Bungalow is the nature walk that starts right from the property and leads to the picturesque Sattal. The walk is a treat for nature lovers, with winding trails through dense forests, offering stunning views of the surrounding hills and valleys. We passed through some beautiful bungalows with stunning architecture. The fresh mountain air, chirping of birds, and the serene ambiance make it an unforgettable experience. Prakash was such an amazing guide who took us through the beautiful landscape telling us about the history of the place. The hospitality at Fredy's Bungalow is also commendable, with the staff going out of their way to ensure a comfortable and pleasant stay. Whether you're looking for a peaceful retreat or an adventure in nature, Fredy's Bungalow in Bhimtal is the perfect destination. I can't wait to return!

Fredys Bungalow combines old world charm with modern amenities. Very peaceful and green surroundings. Birds and wildlife abound.Great walks. Excellent food and extremely helpful staff. My wife and I had a wonderful stay. Couldn’t ask for more !

The property is extremely beautiful, it has the rugged wood architecture and a huge lawn space which is all so well maintained especially the common area.. we spent most of the time sitting outside and looking out the several windows. The staff is extremely accommodating and welcoming and the food is awesome, they take care of you so well and that makes the stay even better

A beautiful heritage lodge built by Mr Fredy just a short 2 km uphill drive to the bungalow set amidst Oak, Pine and Deodhar forest . The place is pristine and since a bit away from the busy roads , almost without any noise pollution. Small 4 room bungalow kept in its most pristine condition. The people who own and manage the property make one’s stay comfortable and memorable. The kitchen dishes out wholesome and tasty home cooked meals. And the menu keeps changing everyday , so now way to get bored of the food . Right from Punjabi to Kumaoni cuisine. It’s the kind of place that can make one so comfortable that leaving the place will take some effort. Being nature and wildlife enthusiast the forested trail adjacent to the property is a delight. With a bustling bird activity and intermittent alarm calls of the barking deer add to the experience. The team behind Fredy's will arrange for nature walks and picnic. The walk down Sattal Road one can spot numerous common and not so common birds. The short hike up to the View point for a picnic was the icing on the cake. Very thoughtful and taking of all guest needs Being in the hills during the peak winter months , we felt the place should invest in some good and effective heating. Also up the bedding , bathroom and add some modern touches. While retaining its old world charm. The central reservation office does tend to share wrong information . Like whether it’s a queen bed vs twin beds. Better to be transparent than painting a different picture of the property. Kudos to Gaurav , Govind , Ashok and the team who ensured we had a memorable stay. Would love to come back in the near future. Possibly during the spring.

We really enjoyed our stay in this property, it’s a beautiful property with old world charm , staffs are very nice , Gaurav takes care of every little things that’s needed and Govind served us with some very delicious food with lots of love .we loved the colonial architecture
