Very Nice Resort. Great Scenic location. Overlooking Sea. Trekking path to go down. Good Infrastructure. The hotel is in itself a full holiday combo...you can walk, swim and have Great Times. Sandesh the transporter link of hotel is great. Only, if some better maintenance could be done it would match a five star hotel. Lockers are not their in rooms... All rooms are Sea Facing

One of the best place to stay with family in Ratnagiri. Best food, spacious rooms, humble staff. Spacious parking Kids train Swimming pool Sunset gallery Direct access to sea.. On request they gave us rooms earlier than check in time. Stayed in C wing - good sea view

Here is a perfect scenario about how to annoy a future customer and likely create bad vibes for many prospects. We booked two rooms from New Jersey on Dec 10th for Jan 15th, 2025. We received a confirmation email with a different business name and a charge on our credit card for another name. It did not confirm the location, dates, etc. I tried to confirm whether the booking was made using a reference number on this cryptic email .. Unfortunately, I did not include every single detail in my email. Someone did confirm that they do have two rooms .. but also did not mention the dates. Two days later, I received an email asking to review our stay (for a booking a month later). When I rewrote clarifying this email, the hotel said that we were a NO SHOW on the day we made the reservation from 8000 miles away, and we needed to book again for January. In my 40+ years of international travel, in hundreds of hotels across five continents, I have come across this kind of fraud for the first time. Fortunately, I am discovering it now .. saving me last minute issue when we would have reached there on Jan 15th. I have Gold and platinum status with both Hilton and Mariott. We try to support local establishments especially when we visit tier 2 and tier 3 towns. We have seen all kinds of issues with service, but this is a new low. BEWARE of this place. PS : The review will not get submitted unless i select the date of stay and it does not allow a future date .. so I am selecting the current month, but to be clear, we are yet to visit Ratnagiri, and hence this hotel.

Beautifully managed, staff is super helpful and the food is great. Especially great service at the restaurant by Swapnil and Manthan. Overall, great vibe and hospitality. Has a lot of accessible points to view the sea and even direct access to the beach.

Hotel is average 😐 not so good. Food quality is average.. You will not get local food.. Bhakri, ghavan.. Breakfast options are also very basic. Service is good.. as they mentioned 4* its fake info.. Kids play area is not well maintained. Indoor activities room is very suffocated, no fan no ac.. Gym is not functional.

Kohinoor Samudra is an old, huge property with big airy rooms and great view from every window. They also have a beautiful sunset point and direct access to the Bhatye beach and it is unmissable. You have to do a bit of a trek/ train as you have to up and down the cliff but it is exclusively for the hotel guests and it is a beautiful way, please don't miss it. The swimming pool is cleaned several times every day and it very clean. The food served is also good. I particularly loved the location of the resort as most places are easily accessible from here. It is also very close to Wayangani beach, again a secluded beach, and it is beautiful.
