The Nanee

A quiet heaven in Bhaktapur. Nearby the entrance of the historic site of Bhaktapur. The extra touch you need during holidays. Most attentive staff, excellent food, large varied menu, the room has been decorated with great care, Perfect stay!

Wonderful boutique hotel. I was there with a group of photographers of the Raw Society. We were greeted by the very friendly and helpful staff. Over the week or so that we were there everyone was very attentive and made our stay very pleasant. We mostly ate at the hotel for most of our stay, and the variety of the menu offerings made that also very doable.

Had the great pleasure of staying at The Nannee last week. The hotel is nestled in the heart of Bhaktapur on a quiet street, moments walk from Durbar Square. The hotel has a modern feel whilst retaining a traditional atmosphere. We would like to make a special thank you to Ms. Roshna Subedi, who hosted our arrival and explained the concept of the hotel and how it was part of the local community. We were offered complimentary walking tours. One at sunrise and the other at sunset. Both were outstanding in every way. These were hosted by the cultural expert, Mr Peepul Subedi. We truly saw local Bhaktapur. The hotel has a fabulous restaurant with a lovely outside area. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner and they were all delicious. We would also like to thank the many other staff who we did not have the pleasure of meeting but who contributed greatly to our stay. We would love to return and are already planning.

This great little boutique property that reflects in every aspect of its facilities and service the charm of the medieval city of Bhaktapur, is a great boon to people who would like to spend some time in the city. I am happy to note that the Newari dinner menu they have developed encapsulates a culinary tradition of the valley that is adapted to please foreigners.

My husband and I spent three days at this beautiful spot in Bhaktapur. We very much enjoyed the room and communal space - the design was beautiful and very well thought out. The food was great, the staff was lovely and the location to the historic center of Bhaktapur was ideal. We loved this spot and will stay again the next time we are back!

Cosy place in modern Newari inspired style. Very warm service. Nice spacy room with light atmosphere. The restaurant is homely and the kitchen is excellent. The only minus is the nightly noise of the streetdogs and slightly elevated price
