Llwyn Onn Guest House, North Wales

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We had the Lake View room which was very cosy and had everything we needed. The bed was also very comfortable with ample pillows and an extra blanket if needed. The house itself it’s very cute and spotlessly clean. Claire was a very attentive host and was keen to offer recommendations. She even phoned round various pubs to see who was showing the F1 which was so so helpful. What we especially liked was the small touches such as the home made Alpacha shortbread, the selection of tea, coffee and hot chocolate in the room along with fresh milk. The complimentary dressing gowns were also a lovely surprise. The breakfasts were exceptional with a wide selection to choose from. Thank you very much for an enjoyable stay. Sarah & James

Claire was a perfect host, friendly but not too overbearing. We had the cosy triple room with an amazing view over the mountain. There was great array of books, games and dvds to take to your room. Really extensive breakfast, all of which was prepared, presented and cooked to perfection. The piece de resistance however were "the boys". Ranger, Django, Bobo and Yogi the Alpacas (along with the chickens and ducks of course). Learning about them all from Claire was the cherry on top. Couldn't resist treating ourselves to alpaca wool socks and half a dozen eggs to take home with us. Thank you for being so welcoming!

Claire was really helpful when we needed to change our trip date. As a host she has thought of lots of lovely details like fluffy bathrobes and toiletries, homemade shortbread and fresh milk to name a few. The bed was comfortable and breakfast very tasty. Stay here and you might even get to meet the ducks and alpacas. Highly recommended.

Where to start, what a fantastic guest house. We initially booked for two nights, loved it so much, stayed somewhere else for one night then came back for another two! Perfect!! Claire is a fantastic host, she is so welcoming, friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The hard work she does at the guest house is amazing. There are fantastic rooms in the guesthouse, also there are a number of very clean and quirky huts outside. The room was spacious and spotless clean, the breakfast was lovely, being a Celiac it’s always worrying to find somewhere decent, but wow, Claire was so accommodating, it was perfect, had a wonderful gluten free breakfast!! We loved it here, from the perfectly quiet location, to the alpaca on site, to chickens, ducks! Everything was perfect! We will be back again next year! Thank you Claire

Claire's hospitality is second to none and made our trip; she is such a lovely and attentive host who is always happy to see you and for whom nothing is too big an ask. Our trip wouldn't have been the same without meeting the alpacas, ducklings, chickens and ducks, and so our stay here was perfect for us as lovers of both animals and the outdoors.

Such a lovely, relaxing stay. We had a lovely weekend away despite a bit of questionable weather (classic wales). Great host and delicious breakfast. Many beautiful places nearby. The room was clean and comfy. Couldn't recommend enough! We would love to come back.
