Great Overnight stay good food comfy room even got an upgrade by a great Barman/ reception Chap !!! Gave us a bigger room and a couple of Drinks !!! Had a lovely stay before heading up to Edinburgh…… Great food and good drinks !! The weather was great and we enjoyed every minute …. Lovely breakfast !!!!

We visited the Swallow Falls Inn for a drink and lunch. Firstly from the outside the building was beautiful and the newly laid car park excellent. The location next to the falls is spectacular no faults whatsoever. Entering the Inn you can tell from the onset that someone has spent some seriou money and made a again, a beautiful job. The young lady behind the bar was very friendly and helpful. We initially only went for a drink but looking at the plates of food surrounding us we decide to have lunch. The prices were very good and a good choice available. It was a little off putting when a lady returned her food and clearly unhappy. We continued to place our order, we being two matured couples. The food took a while to arrive which is a good sign and we had no problem in waiting. Unfortunately there was on one hot plate out of four and only one plate of food was hot the other three only just warm enough. Two of the group had pie and mash, Unfortunately the mash was a powdered type, not good I'm afraid. One of the meals being scampi had clearly not been probed. The young lady at this stage very pleasant came and asked if the meals were alright to which she was told was basically only luke warm to which she then decided to disappear. When she returned for the plates which had food remaining she heard us talking and just took the plates away not asking if we would like sweats or anything else. We decided to depart and the young lady who served us was preparing cutlery and although only feet away decided not to acknowledge us, so we departed. In short for us a beautiful building location spoilt by the quality of the food and preparation.

Our first time to North Wales and we loved our stay here. The warmest welcome when we arrived (we were early), great food…highly recommend the katsu curry and very friendly staff. We had a few requests as were travelling with our 3 year old daughter, all of which were no bother at all. A little out of town but an adventurous walk through the hiking trail will take you to all the local amenities. Highly recommend. Cant wait to go back.

Fantastic stay. The room was clean and comfortable and well worth the value. The service was top notch too! Jo at the bar and Abi the manager were so attentive and friendly they are great ambassadors to the company and they should be recognised for their great customer service

We went for a meal and were impressed with the decor. Food was fine but the service, although friendly was poor. Had to stand around waiting at the bar. The food took too long to arrive and plates weren't cleared quickly when it was clear we had finished. We also ordered pudding but the chef 'lost' it! I will be returning for a pint after a hike. Both times I've been the beer has been good.

A relaxing one night stay, before travelling onto Anglesey. Within touching distance of Swallow Falls, so a nice place to walk over to after breakfast. Room comfortable and clean, all staff welcoming and friendly. Evening meal was ok for the cost, breakfast was good. Plenty of onsite parking which was a real bonus, but if you want to go into the town, it is pay to park and just a little too far for us to walk to. Good location to explore the surrounding forest.
