We visited Lindisfarne Inn on Sunday 20 Oct. Weather was cold and bleak but we found a very warm and hospitable reception on arrival. Mikey and Harley were attentive and provided some great suggestions on what to do in the area. Service levels were excellent with great coffee & drinks. Many thanks to them for making our visit enjoyable.

Food Superb, Staff very friendly... Lindisfarne next fails on quality.. Room quality is always very good and very clean.

We really enjoyed our stay again and Rebecca provided excellent service to us. Extremely knowledgeable and happy throughout. Ideal location if going to Holy Island. Strongly recommend this hotel.

This is a great, friendly and comfortable hotel. Staff so helpful . Our reception on arrival was welcoming and friendly. Service at dinner was good and our meal was tasty and good value. Breakfast had a good buffet - plenty of cereal options, fresh fruit, yogurts and usual breads and pastries. Cooked options were excellent. Bedroom well furnished and decor pleasing. Quiet although near main road. Comfy beds. We were on a walking holiday - hotel very well placed for St Cuthbert’s Way and the Northumberland Coastal Path. Near Holy Island.

11 of us enjoyed our dinner with very friendly staff. Breakfast was very good each morning. Reception was helpful and informative

We were a walking group of 8. The location and facilities suited us fine. Good location for walking across to Holy Island

We had an evening meal. My wife had scampi and chips. I had venison and bacon casoulet. Mine was ok although it had just been reheated and didn’t look that appetising. My wife’s chips were greatly over cooked and inedible. She would not let me tell them but as we left, when asked by the waitress if everything was ok I told her that the chips were awful- She just smiled and shrugged her shoulders! I wanted to see the manager but my wife didn’t want to go to that trouble. I suspect you get away with this because people never complain/ give feedback at the time. We will not be back.

I did feel that £3.85 for a ( very small) pot of tea for one was expensive. I did ask for extra hot water, which never came. Our chips were awful! We asked for new ones. Our waitress was lovely great area for dogs too. Not overly great portion sizes either.
