Vue du Vallon

I stayed here in a lovely room with my own private bathroom. The house is an old farmhouse and exceptionally well appointed. Hosts Glenn and Susan were really helpful with information about the area’s offerings, especially the restaurants, and ideas to keep the children entertained. Breakfast was better than many b & bs, and included eggs from their own chickens, fresh croissants, and lots of children friendly cereals and yogurts. Overall a lovely place to stay in a beautiful part of France.

Stayed in newly decorated room. Very well appointed and in a quietly elegant style. Excellent breakfast, friendly hosts and very comfortable. The village is worth exploring for a taste of rural France.

Just returned from a family weekend 2 night stay at this charming B&B, such a warm welcome on arrival, spotlessly clean, comfy beds, gorgeous bedding and elegantly decorated rooms, topped off with a delicious breakfast in the morning. Plus the views are absolutely spectacular. Looking forward to our next visit.

What a lovely place. Beautifully clean, such a friendly welcome, lovely views, spacious room, great to have kettle in room, Millie loved the dog treats and towel (such a thoughtful touch), would recommend it to everyone.

I stayed here whilst on a business trip down to Limousin. What a pleasurable experience. Emma and Derek Mason were the perfect hosts, nothing was too much trouble and all in beautiful comfortable accomodation.

It is a cosy chambre dhotes. Susan made us a delicious diner. The garden with the chicken was nice te be in. Breakfast with the best croissants of our holiday.

Stayed 5 nights. A really warm welcome, with Glenn and Susan offering support throughout the week. A spacious and comfortable room. Susan provided lots of leaflets for activities around the area which we used and enjoyed with our 2 young children. The area has stunning views and fantastic lakes. Glenn took us Kayaking which was amazing and both children loved. We will return again next year.

We stayed at Vue Du Vallon whilst viewing properties in the area and we could not have chosen a more suitable venue for our needs. The hosts were attentive and happy to assist with local knowledge, hints and tips. We stayed in a family room which was beautiful and had everything we needed, but perhaps a comfy chair or two could be a useful addition (though there is a public lounge area available). We ate in the evening and breakfast and as Vegans we were catered for exceptionally well - everything was delicious and plentiful. The house and views are everything you would hope for in rural France and we were delighted with our stay. We hope to return soon.

The rooms were perfectly appointed with really, really special views throughout the day. Lovely bed linen and hot water. The room also had a really lovely mix of new and quaint French vintage finds. The food was out of this world - I was a huge fan of the breakfasts and definitely ate too much! Thank you for a lovely stay.
