Unfortunately, our stay at Aldea Hotel Berlin left much to be desired. The issues began at check-in, where, despite having only one person ahead of us, the process took over 30 minutes. Everything was moving incredibly slowly, which was frustrating after a long journey.
Additionally, the receptionist did not inform us that there are two rooms with the same number on the floor, differing only by the color of the hallway carpet. This caused us to go back downstairs to resolve the confusion.
When we finally got to our room, we found that the beds were pushed together, despite our reservation clearly stating we wanted two separate beds. To make matters worse, the glasses in the room were dirty, with visible lip marks from previous guests – completely unacceptable!
To top it off, on the day of check-out, starting from 11:00, the cleaning staff knocked on our door every 20 minutes, even though check-out was until 12:00. This constant disturbance was highly stressful and unnecessary.
Overall, the hotel did not meet our expectations, and the numerous issues significantly impacted our stay. We will definitely not be returning
