The breathtaking view from the terrace is reason alone to book at this lovely family run boutique hotel. The breakfast was wonderful, lots of delicious food that just kept coming! All rooms different with lovely furnishings. Only thing - there was a light immediately outside my room that burned all night

Berat is an amazing city and good starting point for many activities. Vila Aleksander is a wonderful place ideally located with spectacular view ! The room has all the charme of the city of the 1000 windows. The couple that manages the hotel will do anything to give their clients a perfect service,

This beautiful place is meticulously clean and well taken care of. Our room had incredible views of berat and was very comfortable. We enjoyed the rooftop terrace for breakfast. The grounds are gorgeous - with fruit trees and beautiful flowers. Close to berat castle and lovely walk through old town berat. We highly recommend staying here!

We stayed for one night and after our arrival immediately decided to stay for another night. Wonderful view, beautifully renovated and the owner is more than happy to show you around and explain the renovations he made. They offer a trip to a winery, we considered it an excellent trip, with wonderful wines and bites in a beautiful scenery. Definitely recommended!

Everything was perfect! The hotel was in a very good position, in the city centre, close to Berati Castle, in the well known suburb, Mangalem, fron the terrace you have a wonderful view of the Mountain, river and the city. The hotel is in a quite part of the city, the pine trees close to the hotel offer an excellent air scent and you can enjoy your holidays in privacy. The rooms are so clean, and the owners so gentle, so polite and they take care to make you feel superb. You can also taste delicious food, fresh eggs from the chickens of the hotel, and also play with Kiko, the lovely dog, that my kids are in love! A 5 star holidays! Highly recommend

The hotel is perfectly located in the Mangalem Quarter of Berat to explore the rest of the town from. There are quite a lot of steps leading up to the entrance so pack lightly if you think you'll struggle. Our double room was very comfortable with access to the lower terrace. The upper terrace has amazing views of Berat and is where you'll be served breakfast from if the weather is nice. If you visit in the summer months you'll be able to enjoy the beautiful flowers that decorate both terraces too.

Perfect, cosy hotel in a very quiet zone! Everything is terribly clean and the owners are very helpful and take care of the guests. The food is fresh and bio. The position is excellent, to the way to the castle and close to Ethnographic museum. Highly recommended! 5 star plus

siamo arrivati in taxi in questo hotel molto carino..camera accogliente pulita ed ordinata con aria condizionata...la terrazza bella che da sul paese..molto comoda la posizione vicino alla fermata del bus..colazione piacevole..il proprietario ci ha raccontato un po la storia dell hotel sicuramente interessante.. cose negative: api fastidiose a colazione nessuna bottiglietta di acqua di benvenuto tassa di soggiorno non segnalata su booking

L'hotel di Aleksander e di sua moglie Greta è un gioiello incastonato in un bellissimo scrigno qual è Berat, città patrimonio dell’Umanità UNESCO. Nessun dettaglio è lasciato al caso e testimonia l’amore dei suoi proprietari, gentilissimi ed ospitali, per la loro “creatura”, frutto di anni di fatica e sacrifici. La storia della costruzione di questa fantastica villa è emozionante. Cominciare la giornata facendo colazione sulla bellissima terrazza, poi non ha prezzo. Consigliatissimo
