As soon as we arrived we realised what a very special and luxurious place Rock Villas is. Our room No 4 was incredibly comfortable, located near the pool and with our own private outside sitting area. .The staff lead by the brilliant General Manager Anjana are all so attentive and professional.. The food which was made to order was definitely some of the best we had during our 3 x week stay. There is a lovely beach at the end of the garden where we enjoyed long walks. After our 3 x week holiday it was a complete joy to finish off in such a beautiful, peaceful and spoiling place - thank you

This is such a good hotel - so sad to leave it! Lovely setting looking out to the palm trees with the surf rolling just beyond the mangroves. Excellent room - well equipped and very comfortable. The service is immaculate - really special and everyone is so friendly. Lovely food and drink - some places for lunch etc nearby just down the railway track. We'd go back in a flash!

The service and attention continue to amaze. Anjana the manager has a tireless approach to maintaining the highest of standards . The gardens are immaculate and the gardeners are constantly removing even the smallest leaves etc. The food is not the cheapest but but the quality is without question especially dishes of Italian origin. The general service in all departments is excellent and Rohan leads in the restaurant.

This is definitely one of the best resorts I've stayed in during my visits to Sri Lanka.The buildings and grounds are meticulously maintained. Rooms are beautifully furnished with a mixture of traditional and modern furniture.Wonderful art work and decorations complete the visual experience. Food is exceptional and the chef accommodated special dietary requests. The hotel manager Anjana welcomed us on arrival and with his well trained ,friendly and dedicated staff made our stay a memorable one. Our dedicated staff person Kumara made sure all our needs were met from early morning to closing down the Walauwa at bedtime. The property has a beautiful private beach and lovely pool. Brief Garden and Lunuganga are interesting places to tour when in Bentota and are both a short commute from the resort. So if traveling to the Bentota area Rock Villa is highly recommended !

We had a lovely stay for 3 nights. The deluxe room was spacious and it included a private seating area at the side. The food was very good and we opted for the Sri Lankan feast on two evenings which was delicious but too much for us!. The gardens and pool were very relaxing and access to the beach is easy across the railway line at the rear of the property. If you are a very light sleeper then you can hear the trains but it is not much of an irritation. The level of service was very high. The staff were courteous and attentive and they came across as a team. The General Manager Anjana was active and very engaging. We were unlucky with the weather but the hotel made up for it. Really recommend.

Rock Villa is a beautiful property, and one that's ideal for the whole family. We booked out the entire space with relatives and kids, and it had something for everyone - a lovely pool to an extremely spacious garden area for the kids to play in, a spa, a complimentary tea service and an extremely well maintained beach. The food was delicious, be it western or Sri Lankan cuisine with a variety of options, and the rooms are spacious and have all the necessary amenities. The staff was lovely and quite accommodating. They even had a pickleball court, though the USD 20 per head is far too steep and definitely needs to be revised. Overall, though, I can't recommend it enough.

Had the most amazing experience at the Rock Villa! The property is gorgeous, lush green lawns and access to beach. The rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated. But the icing on the cake is the attentive service. The staff are really warm and courteous and make sure you are well taken care of. Would highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing getaway !!

Quaint rustic old charm beautiful boutique hotel. We only had one night and wished we could have spent more time here. A short walk across the railway tracks to the beach where you have deck chairs and towels if required. Dinner was an awesome sea food platter. Steeply priced if you include all the additional taxes which we didn’t take into account given at other hotels it was just the 10%. Breakfast was another amazing experience honestly you cannot fault the meals in any form or manner. If we went to come back to SL we would definitely want to stay at Nyne Rock Villas. Thank you to the whole team for an amazing time and service

We love Rock Villa. It has a genuine old world of Ceylon atmosphere but with all modern comforts and conveniences. The service is superb and always comes with a smile. The food matches this, absolutely outstanding! There is a railway line at the end of the property but it causes little disturbance and beyond that is beautiful beach which is almost deserted, even though it is very close to to the main Bentota resort.
