About Puerto Morelos: Even though it´s close to Playa del Carmen and Cancun, it is very different. Puerto Morelos, the small town between Cancun and Playa del Carmen, is a laid back fishing village with interesting people, great little restaurants and a small grocery store. No one is trying to braid your hair or sell you anything, however, there are great places to shop. Playa del Carmen is a 20 minutes drive and is full of action. Also, there is a ferry from Playa del Carmen to Cozumel that goes out every hour. Cancun is about 25 minutes away if you want to party, explore or shop. But it´s always nice to come back to Puerto Morelos the place to enjoy, relax and feel the serenity...
