Apartamentos Turisticos Terralta

Ok so firstly I would like to say don’t beleive all The terrible reviews! We stayed here for a week self catering with a 2.5 year old and I am 7 months pregnant the hotel is literally a 10 mins walk to the town and beach down a gentle incline! We went every day up and down with shopping a pushchair in the heat and with me being pregnant and took us no longer then 15 mins to walk back! It was actually a nice way to break up the day!! The pool is lovely! We went in every day very clean! Not sure what peoples previous comments have been re the sun loungers as they weren’t hard and plastic and no need to hire any cushion! They were your standard fabric base with white plastic edges! Comfy no problem!! No problem getting sun beds at all! Didn’t have to cue didn’t have to fight to get one! Plenty available! The on site park was clean and tidy as was the onsite games room pool Table area and the whole Hotel was clean and tidy! We didn’t use the indoor pool as weather was lovely but it looked clean and there were children allowed in it until end of May! Sadly no pool Towel hire which would have been a benefit We had a 1 bed apartment which was big enough for the 3 of us! Two single beds wasn’t ideal But we pushed them together! We did the same with the two single sofa beds in the front room at night! Reasonably comfy! Large balcony, no oven but all Other amenities could have been fitted from a frying pan or wok as didn’t have one and only one chair on the balcony outside which meant we couldn’t all sit out so a chair each would have been better, didn’t see a single ant as some Of the reviews say!! Fresh towels, bedding and apartment was cleaned 3 times during the week we stayed! Small Amount of basic toiletries in the bathroom The on site shop was ok if you really needed milk but very minimal Choice your better off walking 10 mins to Dialprix (green one) for a huge choice in everything and reasonable prices We didn’t watch tv so can’t comment We did use the Glovo app twice for take away of food on a few nights out daughter was really tired it is pricy but good if you need it! Only downside is order early as delivery did take 45-1 hour. You could also Pay for the evening buffet too if you wanted to 18 for adult and 9 for child including soft and alcoholic drinks all in all For what we paid we couldn’t complain at all Everyone was friendly

We went with Tui as a package. We were the only ones checking in. The concierge was excellent and friendly the whole process took around 3 mins. Be advised the location is at the top of a hill. The first 200 or so metres are a 1 in 6 but ease up to around a 1 in 3. Taxis are freely availale at a cost of around 6 to 9 €. We were placed in block 3 on the first floor. Our apartment was suprisingly well equiped. The kitchen had all you needed for making a meal good utensils. The bedroom consisted of 2 single beds. The lounge had 2 sofa beds with dining table and a flat screen Tv. The wifi was good all over the apartments. Restraunt was buffet style and in1cluded all the usual fare you would expect very good staff on top of everything this is a well managed aparthotel. Guests are predominately European we met some lovely people from cumbria and liecester.

This is our second visit to Terralta almost a year apart, we absolutely love it as it's away from all the Hussle and bussle of the town, we will definitely be back again as there was nothing that we could say we didn't like, excellent food and everywhere was so clean and tidy and fresh smelling and nothing is to much trouble for them, our transfer back to the airport was early evening and they even lent us towels so we could have a shower while we were waiting amazing place, keep up the good work

Another great stay here at the terralta. This complex is exceptionally well run. The apartments and all surrounding areas are spotlessly clean. Friendly staff and great little supermarket which is very reasonably priced onsite. Will definitely return 👌

Hotel Upon arrival the hotel was very clean, there were vending machines in various locations. The staff were very friendly. Rooms We were very surprised with the size of the apartment upon arrival. It was very spacious. The kitchen provided us with the basics that we need; fridge, hob, kettle microwave. In the living room there are two large sofas (which can be pushed together to make one large bed) and a tv. The bathroom again was also very spacious not much storage space or shelves for toiletries but we managed. There was a bath with overhead shower which was very powerful. The bedroom contained 2 single beds that we pushed together they were comfy and there was plenty of pillow and blankets. There is one large wardrobe in the room which was just big enough for us (2 adults and 1 child) however bigger families may struggle for storage. There was a safe in the room which was free of charge.The balcony area was very big the full width of the apartment and had an area for drying clothes. There were only a couple of issues with the room was access with the pushchair, yes there is a lift but we still had to either go up steps or down steps before gaining access to the lift in block 4, this was a nightmare if the granddaughter had fallen asleep. secondly, the ants in the kitchen were really bad again this is common I know and no fault of the hotel. Overall the apartment was very clean and met our needs. Facilities The pool is very big and perfect for all ages, it was very cold but I suppose you get this everywhere. There are plenty of sunbeds around the pool and we never struggled to find one. There is a shop on site which is open 9 to 5, personally I think this could of stayed open a little longer. But it did provide all the basics that you need and the prices were very reasonable. My only issue with the shop is everything you go in with a child they offer them a balloon, I just wish that they would ask the adults first as they hand them over straight to the child, as my granddaughter nearly chocked on one. I didn't use any other facilities, and wasn't informed of any however I did see that there is a sauna, gym, mini club, laundrette and indoor swimming pool. Entertainment If I'm honest at the beginning of our holiday this was disappointing. We took the granddaughter to the mini disco (which started at 8.30pm) and she was the only one there which is no fault of the hotel but it just wasn't very good, the bingo got cancelled a few times while we were there, and we only actually saw one singer. Most of the time it was just a staff member playing music. But as the week went on it did improve. Food We went bed and breakfast for this break. The breakfast is what you would expect. Full English (proper sauages 😊) and continental. There was plenty of choice and always lots of fresh fruits and breads. I must say that we did enjoy the breakfast. Just back from a week at the Terralta and we did enjoy it. The hotel was clean and the staff friendly and helpful. The pool area was spacious and the pool had plenty of different depths to keep the kids safe. The pool bar was closed but the hotel was quiet given it being low season. The sunbeds are a bit old but still comfortable. They are strict about reserving beds but I suspect more during busy times, when we were there only about 30% were being used. The room was spacious, beds ok, enough storage, safe available to rent reasonably. The living area was big enough and had 2 comfortable sofabeds and a dining table and chairs. The kitchen had pretty much everything I thought was reasonable to expect to enable some heating or cooking if food. The microwave had a grill so there is no full size oven just a hob. We didn't have a bath just a walk in shower which wasn't ideal for my partner who has mobility issues so you may want to check when booking. Plenty of power sockets. The bar area was small so I'm not sure how easy it would be to see the entertainment when the hotel is full. There was a daytime programme but I didn't see it carried out however it was quiet in the hotel so it wasn't a problem We booked a mobility scooter with a local firm and the hotel has a secure area in the garage to store and charge them. You need to ask for a garage pass key at reception The hotel is on the edge of the resort and the nearest restaurant is about a 10min walk down the hill with further bars and restaurants starting another 5 mins walk. If you walk it back the route via the cemetery is really steep but there other gentler routes. People of all ages were walking up the hill but not always easily. We used the scooter and did our shopping with it. A taxi from the rank just off the beach near the old town shopping area back to the hotel was €6.15. we went to the Benidorm Palace show and the taxi was about €10 each way. They have their drinks menu online so you can check prices but it wasn't much dearer than the hotel bar. We ate in the hotel a few times. Dinner was what you'd expect with a good salad selection, soup, meats, fish, pasta, veg, bread desserts. The low season price was €16 but included lager and wines so was pretty reasonable. Breakfast was €8 and well cooked (British sausages and better bacon than you normally get) plus pastries cereal, drinks etc. large breaky outside was about €7 without a drink. The TV in the room is small, no usb port but has a number of UK Freeview TV stations (no ch4) . My only real issue with the room was that the ground floor rooms not facing the pool were lower than the pavement in the road behind the hotel and so we had little privacy in the room. They need a net curtain to allow privacy when you don't want to have the blackout curtains closed. We never opened the curtains in the bedroom because of this. These low rooms aren't dark but won't get much sun so sitting on the balcony to sunba
