Apartamentos Beni-Beach

We booked a self catering apartment at Benibeach Apartments, as we like cook a lot of our food. We arrived at 4:30pm on 17th Aug 25’ after travelling all day. We bought some food from the supermarket so we could cook something. We attempted to cook our evening meal and the fuse box kept tripping off, including the fridge. I rang the reception and they asked I call back in the morning. We threw this food away, as it was part cooked. I called reception the following morning, and they advised that the engineer would come to have a look at it. She stated that it was very common with these cookers and the ‘hob and the cooker should not be used together as it will fuse the apartment’. She also stated to only use ‘one hob at a time’. This is not helpful if you want to cook a complete meal. We were unable to cook again that day as waited all day and the engineer finally turned up when we were getting ready to go out at 20:30. He replaced one of the cooker hobs, he put it all back together and then it all fused again (power out). He then went and got another hob replacement and fitted that. He said it should be ok now. We ate out again that night as it was too late to cook. On our way out I spoke to the woman on reception and she couldn’t speak much English. I tried to explain that we haven’t been able to cook since arriving and this was the end of day 2. She advised I come back in the morning to speak to the receptionist who could speak English. I attempted to cook breakfast the next morning, and it kept fusing again (about 6 times). I went down to reception and reported it again. The woman at reception spoke good English. I said that this was day 3 now and we were still unable to cook. I asked how I can make a complaint. She said ‘I can give you a form but it’s all in Spanish’. She suggested she send out the engineer again. He arrived that evening when we came back from the beach and said he couldn’t find anything wrong. He suggested it could be the toaster or the kettle, but he wasn’t sure. This happened many times after when we tried to cook, so we had to eat out, at an expense we wasn’t prepared for. We paid extra for a self catering apartment (£2300+) for our weeks stay and couldn’t cook. This is totally unacceptable. There were also other problems with the appartment, such as cracked ceramic tiles, rotting wooden door in the bathroom, no cups to drink from….. I feel that it was made very difficult for me to complain as I was English.

We arrived at 1am and was worried about the checking in times but to our surprise there is someone on the reception 24hr a day . Staff were very friendly and helpful. The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Very close to the beach and had great views from the balcony. The pool was great to use and the kids loved it. Short walk in to old town and you got plenty shops and restaurants to choose from. The location is nice and quiet and was able to relax with the kids. Will defo use again we really enjoyed our stay here

We stayed on the 18th floor the view was outstanding reading reviews before we left made me think what the hell had I booked but on arrival the staff was amazing we arrived at 2am and check in was fast the lovely man on the dest that night went into storage and got bucket and spades for my younger boys to play with on the beach the next morning.i normally have terrible sleep unless I'm in my own bed but I had lovely sleep the whole week the pool was amazing for cooling down after a walk into old town or to the beach all staff were lovely and helpful only down fall was no Aircon but fans were provided in the room we can't wait to go back in October as the apartment is in the perfect location for amazing restaurants and not too far to old town where our family live

It’s dated and had its day, but the staff are great and helpful. Rooms are of a good size. Single beds are very firm and in need of replacing. Pillows are basically a ball of fluff. Best to use a towel or blanket from the wardrobe rolled up to support. Sofa beds in living area need replacing. Pool is great, but a little strange. Sun loungers are located away from the pool area and chained up. Why not move them down by the pool and make the area more welcoming? No issues on the €40 deposit, made aware before booking and all returned with no fuss afterward. One last thing, please fix the slamming doors in the corridors that lead to the stairwells)

Coach dropped us of at bottom of the hill, outside golden hotel. If disabled or in wheel chair. Steep bank to back entrance of hotel Reception clean but bland lacked any kind of welcome. Have pay £40 pp deposit Lifts small Didnt find any charger point for mobility scooter.plus there not allowed in building. Rooms tidy but lack cimfort an very outdated Beds hard pillows need throwing. Had roll blanket found in cupboard with towels as was itchy use as pillow. Sofa constantly slipping when sat on it. Not comfortable either. Small kitchen with stocked utensils Shower ok Signs of aging in decor Pool disgusting an out of order grounds unkept. Sun bathing on car park Situated quite far up old town As this 1st ever visit to benidorm so didnt no. Due to disabilities bit of way to new town. If want rowdy an be near new town this not for you or kids nothing for them do. Best only bit was sea view an balcony. An 2min from beach front. Shame pool was in state it was If just book cheap flight Room is £100 on walk ins to reception

There is Budget, and there is Below Budget! I am someone who doesn't mind "No Frills" But this falls below even a basic decent standard. Positives are, Great Location and the Staff are Friendly and helpful. Apartments are clean however, there are a few issues with what looked like fleas, these bugs were rife in the place and they BITE! They have Broken Furnishings that need to be repaired, Sinks Cracked, Toilet Seats Chipped. Doors water damaged and wood splitting from them, Floor tiles are chipped and loose. Old fashioned furniture doesn't bother me, but broken and not bothering to repair the place isn't acceptable when taking people's hard earned cash. On Arrival you have to pay £80 Cash deposit, When you leave you get it back but they don't inspect the room before they give it you they just hand it back. So a sizeable sum of your Holiday Cash is gone straight away and the reason is to cover the TV Remote and 2 Plastic Key Cards. This Amount doesn't Justify 80 Euro? This maybe would be 20 Euro. Then you have to endure the Broken furniture, Loose/chipped floor tiles in your apartment, The Neighbouring Tennant's smoking **** and nothing being done! The Pool is Not usable, even 28 Degrees of Sunshine wasn't enough to Heat it, The sea was warmer. No Sun beds near the pool, the entire area has no seating and tables as advertised, there was no Bar, you could buy beer at reception in can's but I don't know why there's pictures of a Bar and Outside seating area near a tennis court because there's none? An outside worn out Tennis court yes! It's not that cheap Folks you can get a week all inclusive in cheaper places in Benidorm than what they charge at Beni Beach. Until they invest in their business don't give them yours! Pictures attached.
