Apartamentos El Faro by Mc

We stayed at el faro from September 29 to October 8 our stay was made very enjoyable due to very friendly staff particularly Angela and her colleagues at reception. We have been going to el faro fo the past 25 years and the changes made are to an excellent standard the pool is wonderful and the new bar area is very relaxing with very friendly staff.we have already rebooted for January 25 and look forward to seeing you all again.

Brilliant week at the El Faro apartments. We came as a family of 6 and had 2 apartments - both were clean and well equipped with a hob, microwave, kettle, toaster and hairdryer. HECTOR the barman was AMAZING. His cocktails are fantastic and he’s super friendly and helpful. MARCOS in the office was fantastic too and really helpful. We will definitely come back. Location is superb. Away from the busy part of Benidorm and the beach across the road is beautiful and fairly quiet. Loads of bars and restaurants within a short mooch after a lovely day by the pool. Thank you! It was an amazing holiday!

Great wee place and nice and quiet. Great friendly staff on reception. Had a few worries about arriving late and read that the reception will be closed. I emailed them about my concern and they came back to me with all the information I needed to get into apartment. Great service... Room was clean and good see view. We walked into town a few times but reception phoned us a taxi.

I had stayed here 5 years ago and loved it, but this time I was very disappointed, on your website it states all rooms gave a sea view, we did not get a sea view. Instead a dirty metal roof over looking the pool, the balcony was dirty. The table was not much better. The bath needed replacing as all the base was horrible. Not enough sun beds , and non guests wandering in to use the pool . Unfortunately some of the apartments are Spanish owned and the week I chose was a Spanish holiday , apartment 1a had 3 small dogs and because the owners went out , those dogs barked continuously for 1 hour and 30 mins, and again on another night. I was extremely stressed and upset, not only that but the Spanish themselves were coming back very late and were very loud shouting etc . I did mention it to the receptionist when he was there. But he could do nothing as they owned the apartment. Also there were fireworks going off at 8am , loud music and procession, fireworks in the afternoon whilst trying to relax on the beach, I realised it must have been a Spanish fiesta and holiday but had I known I would have chosen a different week , I have been suffering with enormous stress from my job and badly needed this holiday , it was only for 5 nights but I found it to be more stressful than relaxing. I paid a lot of money for this much needed break to feel so very disappointed and very unhappy.

Booked hotel through a company called last night of freedom.. Hen party weekend. This company specialises in adult only weekends and stag / hen weekends The hotel was sold to to me as I was the organiser at 255 each person… 12 ladies ages ranging 27-57 years… Booked… October 2022 ready for July 2023… all information was shared and requests given to the company as we had 5 ladies with underlying health conditions… 2 ladies with fybromialgia… lady with sever diabetes and a lady who had recently broken her arm ans another lady who had broken her ankle early this year… At the prices of the rooms and look at the hotel on the web site it looked basic but quiet nice… I had requested Prosecco on arrival and basic food… as we had set out early … we were told that the hotel had a bar and basic food facilities but if we wanted food… there was a nice bar next door… Up on arrival the hotel from The outside looked nothing like the photos and as I had spoke to the rep who met us … It was very run down dirty haras fencing around the hotel and the hotel looked like it was falling apart The reception lady was ok but not helpful at all .. she was only the manager and I asked where the amenities were the bar champagne etc she laughed and I said this was classed as a 2 star hotel adults only and caters for hen ans stags She said no nothing like like we were advised it wasn’t even a 1 star rating We looked around in disgust and I was terribly embarrassed… She told us her name was Maggie that the hotel owner had sold the rooms off during Covid and never maintained the hotel maintenance was very limited… No sun beds infact 6 in Total and filthy … no bar that had closed and used as a storage area for cases or anting else they dumped there… We were advised no rest towels would be replenished after 1 day and no toilet rolls we would have to buy our own … I contested this and said it was a complete fass!!! The hotel was not the hotel advertised it was for homeless I would say … it was some residential local people living there… it was disgusting dirty left to go to rack ans ruin We had no electric in our bedroom on 2 lights worked…. One safe between 12 of us … No iron as requested no hair dryers as asked all these questions nothing … there was dog wee in the corridor and no H&S basic standards met… we had ceiling fan in 3 apartments only 1 room worked Holes in the ceiling and the room had not been cleaned properly Advised 4 to a room not 3 which was originally stated by the booking company LNOF 4 to a room it was a squeeze Balcony table was filthy old nothing maintained or cleaned…. Fridge broken Sink leaked and shower head didn’t stay up …. The outside pool area was filthy umbrellas broken pool floor area dirty pool felt dirty we all come back with coughs after 2 days …

terrible hotel disgusting place filthy manager of the hotel horrible. no customer service … no towels in room , no A/C fixtures firings health hazard! dangerous old faded furniture no pool bar no food no snacks apart from a dispensing machine. pool filthy 5 sunbeds broken parasols bins full place disgusting dirty! rooms bathrooms terrible people waking into the pool area as and when… no plastic cups allowed and no basics homes homeless people no cleaning in rooms…. terrible services tried to get our money back LNOF don’t ever book with guys ever again… terrible expeiance
