Hotel Voramar

Just got back from vorama hotel benidom... we booked a Superior room with beach view. When we opened the curtains and went outside on the Balcony.we were facing a Building site. They are Renovating hotel Directly opposite our Balcony. Portable toilet. Was all view and workmen working 8 till 6. We went to Complain at reception Management said you have got what you paid for Superior room with sea view. Complained to love island when we got back.and they said they would look into it. Got back and said they are sorry but can't do anything about it. So if you want to book a holiday don't book loveholidays . Customer care is none Existent.and don't book hotel vorama. Food is poor quality and Luke warm at best.

Lovely Hotel ,Juan at reception very helpful and polite. Room had good air conditioning, cleaners came every. Prices at the bar and roof bar were good,food at dinning room was also good,The hotel is well situated in the old town,not far from tapas alley and tapas square.

If you do not like lifts or suffer from claustrophobia do NOT book this hotel. Lifts are about 3ft x 6ft, we asked for a ground floor room, we were given a room on floor 4, we did get a move to floor 1 but it took over a day. Hotel is perfectly situated for the beach and old town but that’s about all, rooms were clean but very basic. Entertainment was always aimed at the Spanish guests, nothing at all to suit the English. Our room was very noisy, might as well had not had no glass in the windows as every noise from outside could be heard, we were close to a public gym which played very loud music early in the morning. The breakfasts were ok, enough to make a basic English if you played around with what was on offer. One day black pudding no sausage, next day no black but sausage, then bacon one day none the next, however I was going to say spotless until we found the mouldy bread. The pool is on the roof and very small, smallest I have ever seen on holiday, it’s a trek to the roof if you won’t use the lift only to find no beds. Some of the entertainment was cringeworthy, especially the waiter who seemed to enjoy disrupting each show we saw. Would I book this hotel again? 110% not. Vincent’s pub next door is excellent for pub food although the Karaoke every night did get a bit boring, would have been nice to see some live music.

We are just returning from a 6 night stay over Christmas at the Voramar. I have awarded the hotel 5 stars as I think it deserves more than a 4 star rating. It is a very good hotel. I will go through the good points first: The hotel is exceptionally clean. Rooms were cleaned to a high standard daily. I could smell the bleach after the room had been done. I could walk round barefoot and my feet never got dirty. The staff are very pleasant. It is a predominantly Spanish hotel. Entertainment is tailored towards the Spanish guests, which for us was no problem. What was good was that any requests we had were accommodated. On this basis I think that the hotel treats the Spanish and English guests equally. When my daughter, who was not staying at the hotel wanted to join us for Christmas lunch and other meals this was done. A big thank you to Mirabela who is an excellent Receptionist. She went above and beyond when we had a couple of airport transfer issues. She was very polite and her customer service was second to none. Always friendly and just a lovely lady. The rooftop pool was closed for winter but we did have access to the roof terrace and gym. This is a great place to relax and it is a sun trap. When the pool opens back in season it will amazing up there as it has bars and lots of room to relax on chairs and beds. Lovely sea views, beautiful. Location is perfect for Old Town. Minutes from the beach, shops and Tapas Alley. Food in the hotel could have been better. It would have been nice to have a variety of omelettes at breakfast and maybe have a little more variety. We had hash browns today but they weren’t there on any other day of our stay. They were very nice. Evening meal lacked variety sometimes which was a shame. I have stayed in many hotels in Benidorm and generally for hotels of this rating food is better. Having said that the Christmas lunch was very good. Food was varied and there was free wine, Prosecco and water. The tables were beautifully decorated with attention to detail. Table cloths, little stars on them and serviettes beautifully done. A very nice lunch was had with happy staff topping up your drinks. Very pleasant indeed. A little paint touch up on the balconies to freshen them up would be good. We did have an excellent stay though and wouldn’t hesitate to return. I recommend this hotel, it’s very nice. Thank you for a lovely stay Voramar!

beautiful, large , clean room, little fridge, large balcony with sea view even had two sun loungers on it. cleaners in everyday to change towels top up the shower gel. hot and cold buffet style breakfast vast selection, even offered 'fizz'. staff very attentive, and couldn't do enough for you. roof top pool area complete with bar a perfect start / end to the day. ideally situated in the old town close to everything including the beach

Room very basic no mirror over dressing table.food very limited wasn't very appetising. Eggs all brown edges and like rubber no one ate them. Black flies surrounded vinegarette pickles. My husband saw a cockroach on the dining table then it went on the floor the head waiter killed it made a joke saying my friend it is warm weather. The next night we both had chicken veg n potatoes all food Luke warm every service. That night my hubby sick/diarrhoea full of gas then I started also.short 5 day stay it was recommended by people we knew. The environmental health need to visit this kitchen on a spot check.disgusting I wouldn't give this a 1 star for the kitchen rating.still both ill .
