Hotel Mediterraneo

Hotel Mediterráneo consistently delivers an amazing experience. I visit twice a year and am never disappointed. What I like best are the spacious rooms.snd friendly staff.

We stayed for a few nights and overall it was a lovely experience. The hotel and rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff were nice. However there were a few things that could have been better. There were no disabled toilets anywhere in the building so had to go back to the room to use the toilet for someone who needs assistance when going . You need to bring your own towels unless you want to pay a deposit (which i think is refundable) or buy them, which is fine we just weren't prepared. No kettle either so bring one if you want a hot drink in the morning or evening in your room. There is a gym however when we tired to access it our keycards did not unlock it, so not sure. The indoor pool needs to be booked for use, and the entertainment is good for kids but not the best for teens and adults. Food was hit or miss, some days were good others weren't. Location wise it is close to the water park but is a bit of a walk away from the strip and the coast. Overall it was a good experience but very much more catered to family's with younger children.

The hotel itself is very clean and spotless, the entertainment team are out at 10am doing water polo, AquaGym, pool and darts. The evening entertainment isn’t very good. The bar staff are friendly and service is always with a smile. While in the dining room, we witnessed a staff member (waitress) put 3 puddings in her plate and take them back to the kitchen, we thought this was inappropriate and unprofessional. There was still another 1.5hours left in the restaurant for holiday makers to eat, because she took the last 3 the next board of desserts came out and they had been changed to something else, obviously they didn’t have anymore of the ones they were advertising. A lot of Spanish visit this hotel and they are so ignorant, they push you out of the way and jump the queue. They cater a lot for the Spanish. My son had some chicken and that was pink and raw on the inside. I would only stay again if I was self catering. It’s quite a walk to the strip and shops.
