Hotel Santa Faz

We loved it here. Clean,tidy and spacious rooms. Staff are outstanding in every way. Despite its 70 years the place is well maintained. The airport collection point is 200m away when you arrive/leave. Beaches are just minutes away too. Breakfast is plentiful and sets you up for the rest of the day. It’s a 20 minute walk to the tram station and about the same to the Popular bars if that’s your thing.

As hotels go this isn’t a bad one. Staff are very friendly rooms spacious and clean. Beds very comfortable, they wanted to clean the room everyday. Few issues to be aware of though, the walls are paper thin you can hear everything don’t expect it to be quiet either it’s in the party area but if you like the old town and the bars round there it’s perfect! If you want the old town as a base certainly worth stopping here though, we were told all the bathrooms are being replaced from January.

Very basic,very clean, good staff, right in the heart of Tapas Ally and the old Town BUT sadly this has to be the noisest hotel I have ever slept in, being in an alley the sound echoed horrendously from people outside all night long ,inside the noise from people coming in at all hours, the banging of room doors, toilet doors, the toilet systern was I can only assume ancient, the cleaners lovely people but they were responsible for the banging of all of the doors daytime . The food please do not eat here thankfully we only ate once we complained along with everyone else in the restaurant, excuse the chef was on holiday .I actually am quite sad I have had to write this because the staff were good but if you want rest, sleep, decent food believe me this is not the place to go to .

Cannot fault this hotel..just back from 4 nights with friends..hotel staff very friendly and helpful..all areas of hotel are very clean..rooms cleaned every day..Good choice of food at breakfast and tasty..I would definitely recommend this hotel and will definitely return..thank you for my visit

On the positive side, the hotel is located in a central position in the Old Town, friendly,helpful staff and the room, although basic was cleaned daily with clean bedding and towels. The beds were comfortable too. The water pressure for the shower was very good. However, for me, the negatives outweigh the positives. The room was very dated, a mismatch of furniture including a plastic garden chair. The air conditioning was not adequate for the temperatures outside and appeared not to be working effectively. As per other reviews, the walls were paper thin and you could hear conversations in the next room (including a guy in the next room being ill from a night out) Therefore, due to the heat during the night, the ineffective air conditioning and the people in the next room returning at 05.30am each morning, we decided to check out early and spend a couple of nights in another hotel. I understand from You tube videos that the hotel is to be upgraded/ refurbished next year, so I would hope the owners take note of the comments in other reviews and act on them as this could be an amazing hotel.

Was greeted by Elias on reception upon my arrival. Such a kind caring and helpful man. Room was ready and it was good. Breakfast was ok decent selection. Hot food was Luke warm but not a problem as just used microwave. Hotel was clean and always tidy. Only issues was the bathroom. Was dated but tbh just needed a new shower curtain and toilet seat. Walls very thin and could hear everything including when next door flushed and used taps. Location is amazing! ( but could be noisy as mid old town people shouting etc and traffic cars and motorcycles) 10 second from bars and tapas alley. Thoroughly impressed with my stay and would definitely go again
