Riviera Beachotel - Adults Recommended

This is our 5th Visit. And the standards in some areas have gone down. Our check in was good. Very nice lady.But we had to remind her about our Spa visit, which was very good The housekeeping is excellent. Our room was cleaned to a very high standard by Lolita. I do think it would be a nice touch to replace the coffee and milk as they do in premier inns etc. A special mention to Joaquin the restaurant manager so helpful and a lovely man. That extra personal touch was most welcome. Sadly when he is not there it is not so professional. A lot of messing around in the dining room by the staff. The food on Halloween was superb. Good variety, but not that hot. The salad bar also wasn’t as good as previous years Marina tutted at me when I asked for some more bacon. And one Chef ignored my wife and served his fellow member of staff first. I did bring this to the attention of the manageress at the time. We used the gym during the week. Sadly the running machine was out of order all week. The lifts were very sporadic,and frequently had to change the keycard. And we hadn’t had them by our phone The terrace area gets very busy..and we found the waitress quite rude also. We only sat there once. When our friends checked out they were told thanks for staying,hope to see you again. We left soon after and the receptionists were too busy talking and just took the keys off me. We shall be looking to go elsewhere next year

We have stayed in this hotel 4 times now and this time I was disappointed. We arrived at 9-30pm, the restaurant closed at 9pm so we got a bog with 2 hard bread rolls a tin of tuna and a tin of pate and an apple. My husband doesn’t like pate or tuna so he had a bread roll, I had nothing because the bread roll was too hard. Then we went to reception the 3rd day got extra mill pods for coffee and he told us “the supermarket is round the corner “ I said all I want was milk pods like what’s in the room, he said the first 2 are complementary then we have to buy our own Toiletries are not very good this year as well and there is no shower cap. Lovely and clean, food good but I won’t be going back.,

We have been to Benidorm over 15 have stayed in numerous hotels, we have got to say this is the best hotel ever.(and I am not easily pleased) Staff in the restaurant are friendly and attentive, and the food is delicious. always plenty of choice. Terrace is a sun trap, staff friendly, and work really hard. Will definitely be back.

I have reviewed the Riviera so many times now I’m starting to bore myself. I literally cannot think of EVER staying anywhere else in Benidorm. The location, food, staff, cleanliness are ALL totally outstanding - my other reviews of the hotel can only be echoed again on our latest visit. Every visit is like coming home! Only 2 things that we missed this time (although it didn’t affect our enjoyment) were Gabrielle and the Riviera Music Lounge (it was closed for the whole of August). Me and my husband arrived on the 31st December for 5 nights. We asked to be included in the new year's eve gala. We paid 200 euros each. We were expecting alot more for our money. There were cocktails and canopies from 6.buffet dinner with free bar. Anything you wanted. Bottles of wine. Prosecco bottled beer.everyone left about 8 to go to the lounge caberet. The first act didn't come on till 10.Dalton followed by Ruby Rox and Ice. The bar only served basic vodka gin and whisky. Wine by the glass. Draught beer which was flat no bottles. We left at 11.45 to see the fireworks on the beach. Pleased we did because it was a much better atmosphere. We reckoned we drank about £100 worth of drinks between us. The meal was the same as the other nights we stayed. The entertainment was not exclusive. Anybody could have walked in.

Where do you start! The hotel is brilliant. It’s a small hotel, which is spotless. Booking in was so quick and easy. The reception staff are so friendly. The rooms are of decent size and have plenty of storage space. The beds are so comfortable and the pillows are so comfy. It’s the best sleep we’ve had in a long time. The maid who cleans the rooms is so friendly and works so hard. The rooms are honestly spotless. The restaurant is the best I’ve ever eaten in for food for over 40 years of travelling abroad. The food is of excellent quality, and very hot, and I mean hot. It is so fresh The waiters/waitresses are so friendly, and the tables was cleared so quickly. Again they worked so hard, always with a smile on their faces. As so do the terrace bar staff. Would I come back? I certainly would come back to the Riviera.
