Medplaya Hotel Flamingo Oasis

Lovely big room very spacious and clean- pool side and restaurant very busy and could be quite chaotic on times. Enjoyed our stay but would probably pick something a bit quieter next time

Great stay. Fairly central to town and beach. Facilities where good although pool was closed and room looked out onto a noisy building site to the rear. Close to local pupluc transport and plenty of parking.

The hotel was great .. i was all inclusive .. in a double room .. the food was really nice .. good selection for breakfast lunch and dinner .. could be a bit more fruit .. entertainment wasnt as good as last time but it is understandable as not so many guests The staff were brilliant , very helpful and friendly , the entertainment team were excellent ! The room was very spacious , clean and warm , kettle supplied with selection of tea and coffee , uk tv and nice balcony . The price was good for 2 people but i was on my own and did not get a discount .. it would have been brilliant if there was a single person discount

Although Spain has new regulations regarding Aircon systems being on, the law says that tourist rooms are regarded as private and as such air con units are allowed to operate at normal temps. We were on the 20 floor and the heat in the rooms was so unbearable at night but apparently the whole hotel had to stick to Aircon not dropping below 27 Deg Celsius.

We went to this hotel for the first time 2-9th July 24 with my kids 5 and 10 and my parents. We all loved the hotel and will defo be returning in the future. We stayed in room 803 with my 5 year old and my parents were in the room next door with my 10 year old. The room was a lovely size. It had 2 twin beds together which I found rather comfortable,then 2 sofas that were made up as a bed for the kids. Our children found these comfortable to sleep on. The bathroom had 2 sinks and we were fortunate to have a bath and shower which was perfect for us as our 5 year old hates showers and loves the bath. The bathroom was a good size aswell. There was sometimes a horrible smell from the drains in the bathroom but the smell didn't last long. Only downfall I felt was that there was no drawers in the wardrobe to keep some of your clothes in. Each section in the wardrobe had a shelf and 4 coat hanger hooks to hang clothes. There was also a safe in the room you had to pay for at reception. The balcony was lovely and spacious we had a lovely pool view. We never really used the balcony as you hardly got any sun on it. The pool was a really good size and wasn't too deep which the kids really enjoyed. The splash pool for the little ones was a good size and had a little slide in it and water canons with a tiny bucket which filled with water and tipped over Food in the restaurant was OK but a little disappointing for the kids section as they hardly had chicken nuggets on offer for the kids. They had different pizzas everyday, pasta and varied between hot dogs and hamburgers. Although one day it was advertised as hamburger when it was a chicken burger. My kids are fussy and sometimes struggled to find much they liked. The rest of the food was varied every day and tasted lovely especially the cakes. Entertainment in the hotel was good always had 2 acts then a quiz of some kind at night. After that you could go into the downstairs bar to do karaoke until 1am. There was plenty of things on to do during the day aswell between tui kids clubs and the med playa entertainers. There was music on most of the time at the pool. The bars were all good aswell and the cocktails on the all inclusive menu were lovely some were too strong for me. My favourites were lollipop and tropical paradise. Drink was served from 10am-11pm queues at night time went down quickly at the bar. The daytime food snacks served at the pool bar were nice my kids were disappointed you only got 3 chicken nuggets. They enjoyed the chips and crisps. For the sunbeds me and my dad went down at 7.45 and the poolside doors would open between 8.15-8.30. We always managed to get 4 sunbeds next to the stage and infront of the playpark so we could watch my girl at the pool. We always managed to get a parasol but some days these had to be put down as it was quite windy and some were blowing over. The poolside was quite busy and you had to navigate round sunbeds to get to the snack bar or the small kids

Me and my family arrived home on this week after a brilliant week at flamingo oasis Hotel/staff - hotel very clean the staff cleaned the pool and pool area every night after it closed and in a morning before it opens, cleaners came in and cleaned our room every day, air con good, All staff very polite, friendly and helpful Food - my partner and youngest are very fussy eaters and always found something to eat that they liked and my daughter actually tried new things. Lunch times for us was the hardest to find something and meals do get repeated alot but overall I think the food was good. Drinks - great range of all inclusive drinks larger, cider, cocktails, vodka, Baileys, Pepsi, lemonade, fizzy orange, fizzy lemon, milkshakes, slush and help yourself to tea, coffee and hot chocolate machine Lifts - can get busy at certain times I was on a low floor so walked most the time Pool area - Snack bar was great serving drinks and snacks My kids like the toasties from the snack bar (snack bar was better for us on a lunch time) snacks included nuggets, burgers, chips, toasties you could also pay €3 for pizza. People did que for sun beds but If you you didn't mind not been right at the pool edge there was still plenty left thro the day we went out around 9am

We first stayed in this hotel in 2002, came with all our family and 3 young boys with my Mum and Dad also. This year we came with my Brother and Sister in law and their 2 children as mine are in their 30’s now. It felt like coming home, it was an amazing 7 nights. We had room 1915 and I thought I’d miss the pool view but wow. The views especially at night when we sat in the balcony for a while were amazing. We never really had an issue with the lifts like many had, everything was clean and the food was amazing, and the same manager from years ago was still working there! Happy staff happy holiday makers. I did miss the Spanish mini disco songs as we all joined in, and would have loved to see the Greatest Show, hopefully catch it next year. We booked to go again while sat having cocktails outdid the show bar.

This a honset review of this fabulous hotel i Just returned from a week's stay arrived in the very early hours thanks to a delayed flight but was offered sandwiches cakes and fruit on arrival I was on the 6th floor the room was excellent and very clean the food was excellent couldn't fault it at all you(i really dont know why people moan and complain about the food) get a freshly cooked fired eggs at breakfast with sausages bacon black pudding cold meet cheese crossants fresh daily bread pancakes fruit juices and cereals and a carvey every lunch and dinnertime along with freshly cooked meat and fish such as grilled Chicken breast and seabass and once a week at dinnertime there was a chocolate fountain which was very popular the reception and bar area is magnificent I would recommend getting the crisps from the bar area as they come in cone newspaper style cup all the staff there are always friendly and helpful the pool was brilliant as well the pool area I was very lucky enough to attend a foam party that the hotel has a few times during the summer overall I would highly recommend this hotel which is perfectly located just outside of Benidorm perfect for young families I hope to return to this magnificent hotel soon

The hotel had some positives and negatives therefore it depends on what your preferences are. Positives - Hotel was very clean with large rooms - Staff at reception were very friendly and helpful with information and questions - Perfect location for getting to local spots and the beach - wide selection of food options - Pool was nice and lots of fun things to do for children - All inclusive have lots of cocktails and evening entertainment - Very good for price Negatives - WiFi was very poor, can’t get it on the sunbeds - lifts at times were very busy due to how many floors the hotel had - Lack of veggie alternative options - Sunbeds were very busy and you have to be up early to get a decent spot. I think in summer time there won’t even be enough. There are only a couple of adjustable sunbeds If you have children I would recommend asking for a low level floor. We was on the 20th floor and looking over the balcony made me nervous thinking about children.
