Hotel Benidorm City Olympia

Todo bien pero cuidado con el de mantenimiento estaba rondando por el hotel boxeando y chillando cabreado es muy molesto esa persona le falta educación y si te ve asomado en la ventana te echa la bronca porque piensa que estás fumando en fin si no hubiese sido por el loco con la escalera chillando por allí cabreado hubiese sido un hotel recomendable pero así no diré a mis amigos que vayan por si se cruzan a ese loco cabreado con la vida

Felt compelled to write my first review on the basis of some of the other reviews which I think are quite frankly unfair. We spent 7 nights here in the middle of August as a couple and I don’t have a clue what some of the other reviews are complaining about. The hotel is exactly as advertised. Rooms are fairly basic, they’re clean, beds are comfy, aircon works brilliantly and the location is brilliant. 10 minute walk to the castle, 5 minutes to the centre of the old town & maybe 10 minutes to the start of the Benidorm ‘*****’. The hotel is set along a fairly busy street which are mainly bars and restaurants - no nightclubs. The windows go a long way towards shutting out 90% of the noise from outside and chances are the sound of your air con drowns out the rest. You’ll hear the odd bit of excess noise but it’s Benidorm - what do you expect? Breakfast is a limited assortment of continental & cooked but in my opinion decent value for €6 per person. There is an information sheet in the room which states you need to pay a fully refundable deposit for hiring a kettle, iron, safe etc but I hasten to emphasise this is fully refundable - I personally think rather than blaming the hotel for charging, maybe blame guests from years gone by who have clearly abused the free amenities to the point where the hotel had to intervene and ask for a deposit. Also the hotel will ask for card details/€50 euro damage deposit upon checking in, again, fully refundable and again, blame ****** from years gone by who’ve trashed the place rather than the hotel for feeling compelled to asking for some insurance. If you want 5 & 4 star quality, then dig deep and pay for a 5/4 star hotel. The hotel is one of the better 3 stars I’ve stopped in & thats factoring in paying over the odds for summer months. The staff are great, I’d recommend the hotel but I’d implore you to be realistic before you book. Just remember where you’re going.

The staff are lovely everything seems clean when we arrived but my room was crawling with bedbugs so bad you could see them on the walls up the curtains and I am full of bites no way will I stay there again I’ve never felt so dirty can’t really see in the photo but I have bites all over my body

Myself and my friend booked a £99 mysterious holiday and got the Olympia hotel, after reading the reviews we were unsure of what to expect. On arrival the staff were so helpful and gave us advice on where was good to eat and what was happening in the surrounding area. The room was spacious, clean and the beds got made daily. The door handle snapped off one morning and when we went to reception to inform them it was fixed within 20 minutes. We were not really in the hotel much but when we were we could not knock it at all. We would return.

Don’t leave your stuff in hotel 400 euro for snapped key in the door fake entertainment no pool air conditioning started leaking robbed by cleaners get charged for everything you supposed to have in a room ex kettle iron no information on it what so ever hotel staff were rude charge you For things you should already have like clean bed sheets

Rooms are standard , don’t get cleaned properly , mold everywhere, decor very outdated and hall are dark. Mattress/bedding is marked and stained , you need to pay €5 euros to get your bedding changed 😂. Reception staff are okay ideal hotel for stag/youngsters or 2/3 day stay

Absolutely loved our stay here. All the staff very friendly and very accommodating. Spotlessly clean room. Great location , close to lots of bars restaurants. 5/10 minutes walk to the beach . Didn’t have breakfast but this is available. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back.

Good clean hotel. Bar staff and entertainment guy were amazing with my young children. Food was ok. Would stay here again Only gripe was the kids club wasn't open but we still found plenty to do. Lots of lovely walks and parks nearby. Goid range of drinks.

Another good stay here again at the Olympia, stayed here this time as a party of 7 and everyone enjoyed it, beds were comfortable and modern. Staff were helpful when I needed my lock breaking on my bag as it wouldn't open, the bar lady also was lovely and cheerful providing crisps and sweets with our drinks. The one only downside is the reccuring smell of what I believe to be stagnant water as it seems to be in various places around benidorm but somethings you can't help. Would easily recommend and return again
