Location 📍📍📍📍 Cleanliness 🧹🧹🧹 Sleep quality 🛏 Breakfast 🍳🍳🍳🍳 Self-catering apartment with 1 bedroom and a sofa bed in lounge. Clean enough, nothing shockingly bad, but definitely no palace. Reminds me of a youth hostel. Decent base to wash and make a basic meal. No oven but 2 ring hob, microwave, kettle, utensils, and crockery. - (*bring tea bags with you) but not great to sleep as you would think, being that it is a hotel (primary purpose is to sleep) Karaoke on until 2am and only went off, then due to complaining to reception, who seemed to be shocked that at 2 a.m., people might want some sleep There is free WiFi Great location - shops and bars on the doorstep. Beach and harbour a short walk Bananza square approx 6 mins walk. I would recommend the Flamin Flamingo show bar Given one room on the ground floor, asked to be moved away from the roadside to be moved 1 floor up in the same location Every little movement or noise ricochet throughout the whole building The walls are paper thin, so an apartment next door having the telly on at 5am sounds like a concert at Wembley arena Over looking entrance and next to the bar People talking outside until early hours, then peace for a couple of hours before the early morning deliveries start. Traffic passing 24/7 Reasonable priced "tuck" shop on site, but don't expect to get anything other than pop, snacks, and bottle milk. Reasonable rates to keep room longer on day of departure. Although I did pay until 3pm from the 2 options of 3pm or 8pm I was later told I had to be out at 230. Although only 30 mins less time, I did think it was a little unfair. I have never known it before at any other hotel but charging €3 to use the loungers around the pool when a guest of the hotel! Is that a joke ?! The breakfast served in the bar was good and great value €7.50 for large breakfast ¡So all in all, the main point is it's very noisy !

excellent place to stay.....apartments are basic but exactly what you need as a budget traveller......the shower is powerful.....the bed soft.......all untensils needed for self catering.....clean, bright airy rooms......cant ask for much more for the price..... bus stop is only one minute away.....gives you transport options to everywhere you want....close to all the local food outlets for all budgets....beside good bars to watch football/rugby and get fed at the same time.......10 minute walk to the beach which has an amazing promenade to walk along and stop to eat or drink....all in all highly recommended....hope to be back again soon if God spares us........

Lovely apartment 607, spotlessly clean. Comfortable beds with lovely pillows. Well equipped kitchen. Bar downstairs is a bit dated but it doesn’t spoil the holiday. I would recommend this place to anyone. Not the best looking form the outside, but it’s not a problem. On the whole a positive experience.

Last minute change of area found myself and 2 adult kids staying here. Yes it’s not the Ritz but it was clean and for three adults the apartment was fine, I shared the bedroom with daughter while son has the pull out sofa bed Pros It was close to the beach and harbour with plenty of bars, shops restaurants nearby. The was a bus stop at the bottom of the street to get about. There was a pool bar serving food and drinks all day and staff were very friendly and helpful. Cons Our room wasn’t cleaned ( not to much of an issue as only there 4 nights. Had to pay extra for sun beds by pool which I’d expect on the beach but not in an apartment/hotel. Asked to pay extra for late room check out - could pay till 3pm but not later as they staff cleaning finish at 4 - even though it is advertised later than 4 Take note no rooms have balconies

Visited these apartments with a friend in November for first time and have to say we had a lovely stay. Located very central to all you need for a self catering holiday, 10 mins walk to beach and marina, supermarkets and shops all within 5 mins walk, bus stop at bottom of road. We stayed in room 408 and had nice view of street/main road/sea. The apartment was a 1 bedroom with separate living/cooking area which was ideal for myself and friend. Although no balcony in these apartments it wasn't an issue as we were out most of the time. Pool area is clean and had no issues getting sunbeds. All staff work very hard and always served with a smile. Big shout out to Raphael who made sure we had everything we needed. Drinks and food were of good standard and the karaoke bar below apartments is by far the best in town. Towels changed on 3rd day. This is an ideal base for anyone wanting to explore the surrounding area of Benalmadena/Torremolinos/Malaga. We will definitely return as the value for money was fantastic! Well done Doramar 👏
