The Guesthouse accommodations are in a beautiful Craftsman house. Close to the waterfront Boulevard park. A short walk to historic Fairhaven which has loads of coffee shops, bakery, cafes, restaurants, excellent book store. The studio suite was spacious, with a comfortable bed, beautiful linens, well appointed bathroom. The little kitchen was stocked with tea, coffee, creamer, some snacks, microwave, fridge, plates, utensils. Sharon, the proprietor, is very welcoming. There are numerous charming outdoor seating areas. Convenient safe parking. Thanks, Sharon, for a wonderful stay at your beautiful property.

We were fortunate enough to stay for 2 nights in this quaint little home. We were in the basement studio which was perfect for us. Sharon was the host with the most...so gracious and welcoming. We will definitely try to come back for a longer stay. The Old Fairhaven area is a perfect location and the bus stop is one minute walk from her place with frequent buses going into Bellingham for $1 each way. Thanks again!! Take care Sharon! A comfortable and cozy place to stay for a first-time visit to Bellingham. Sharon was accommodating in every way possible even going so far as to pick us up at the Amtrak station & take us grocery shopping after our evening arrival. Since we hadn't a car, it was great that the city bus stopped almost in front of the house and we could easily get to any place in the area. Would definitely stay again in the well-furnished, spotlessly clean studio!

We loved our stay at the Guest House!! Sharon and Reggie were fabulous hosts and the accommodations were so lovely. The apartment offered everything thing we needed for our 4 day stay. The kitchen is well supplied and the space is pristine clean. The Guest House is located above the walking trail that goes into Bellingham and Fairhaven. This is an added bonus. We made plans to come and only stay here!!

What could be better??? Nancy has thought of everything you want for your lovely, comfortable stay. This studio is beautifully designed and appointed. The sitting area for four contains an array of books you've intended to read. The queen bed is comfy with good lighting. A deep tub in the bathroom with all the toiletries. And the refrigerator is stocked with complimentary goodies. All this and more at an attractive price. A unique, beautiful offering!

I stayed three nights in the sensational Studio Suite. Parking is safe and convenient. There is a view of the bay from the Suite. There is ambient white noise so for those who are white noise adverse ear plugs are an easy fix. The private studio is tastefully decorated and stylish. Sharon is a gracious host. For location and value I wouldn't consider staying anywhere else.

We had such a wonderful, relaxing trip to Bellingham with friends. The Guest House was perfect! Sharon was fantastic, and even provided our kitchen with a large sauté pan for making omelets. The Guest House is within walking distance of Fairhaven Village with lots of great shops and restaurants. The rooms were quiet and very comfortable. The kitchen had absolutely everything we needed. The courtyard was a gorgeous spot to hang out in the evenings, and the seating area on the lawn provided breathtaking views of the sunset over the bay. Jim and Evelyn - Austin TX

The studio was very charming. Every detail was on point. From the comfortable bed, well appointed amenities to the check in process was fantastic. The owner is a bit eccentric and quirky but very nice and means well!

The Guest House Bellingham is our favorite place to stay in Bellingham! We have stayed in multiple hotels and private rentals and none come close to The Guest House Bellingham in location, price, comfort, etc. The location is convenient to the WWU campus, Fairhaven and Bellingham. It is also walking distance to Boulevard park which is a great place to watch the sunset. The owner Sharon is thoughtful and helpful and keeps the rooms incredibly clean and nicely appointed. The gardens and outside spaces are beautiful and relaxing. I highly recommend the Guest House at 409 14th Street.
