Riverdale Hall Hotel & Leisure

This is my third visit and each time I have enjoyed it and so have the people who have travelled with me. The bedrooms are always comfortable, clean and warm. Because we have dogs we always eat in the bar but we can have anything we like from the restaurant menu. The meals are always excellent and there's plenty of choice. Having a pool is always a bonus for me and we enjoyed the sauna this time. One of the things I like about the hotel is how dog friendly the hotel is and how welcoming the staff are. We will see you later in the year.

Visited the hotel for a wine tasting weekend. The food was amazing! Plenty of choice at breakfast and beautifully cooked dinners. All the staff were very helpful and friendly The rooms were large and clean. The weather was dreadful, but the roaring fire in the bar was very cosy!

I stayed here from 27 September, initially for 3 nights, on a walking holiday with Involved Holidays. Warm, friendly hotel. The food was outstanding. Each night they put on a 3 course/3 choice menu for our group. All what I call proper cooking eg pate-salmon fillet-lemon tart. So good I stayed for an extra night, and the Partridge breast stuffed with haggis, wrapped in smoked bacon with jus, followed by Toblerone cheesecake (that I had on the last night) was definitely food of the gods! And the breakfast is not bad either!

Fantastic place ,dogs paradise .Had a wonderful four days ,food is 1st class with mouth watering choices , the staff are friendly,thoughtful and efficient Thank you for a wonderful time . There were 18 of us and 5 dogs , children loved the swimming pool and the field for rounders and other ball games

We had such a lovely stay, great value dinner, bed & breakfast. High quality home cooked restaurant food, comfortable room, great location. Our dogs were catered for beautifully, super local river walks. Friendly and helpful staff made the stay totally enjoyable.

The staff are amazing at this hotel. I hope they are told every time someone comments on them. Unfortunately the main reason I booked was for the spa and the sound proofing in the room, non of which were true. Spa unavailable, I could hear snoring and coughing in the next room.
