Obel Apartments by Beehosting

My boyfriend and I stayed here last night. Upon arrival, the queue was significantly with one man manning the desk. We were made to transfer the security deposit of £100 rather than them just making a hold on the card. They also charge £20 per hour for every hour you go past the check out time which is early at 10am. When we got to the room, the apartment had a lot of signs of wear and tear, the bathroom door had been kicked or broken on the lower left hand side. But most annoyingly the bathroom had not been cleaned. There was the previous guests toothpaste spit still in the sick, there were hairs in the bath and on the floor, the taps were dirty. The cooker in the kitchen had not been cleaned and the draining board was dirty. I complained and we were offered a previous room. We went to look at it and the boiler as giving a continuous banging sound so I ended up cleaning the bathroom myself. Also the building is right beside a Dual Carriageway and the sound of cars is constant. The windows are not soundproofed at all. I would not stay again and I would not recommend it. Photos attached

So uncomfortable i could not sleep do not go here i don’t recommend .. small apartments with rock solid beds. Nothing provided and the front desk staff are just rude. It’s an ok area for walking to vitoria square, other than that will not be coming back !!!!! Bathrooms dirty also, Muck on floors

Booking cancelled few days before because they basically sold it to someone else. Being we where up for the Christmas markets everything sold out or more than double the price now. Trip cancelled for 7 people thanks to greedy owners. Avoid! They have done this a few times

This is a lovely apartment, however the 120 euro fee before you even get through the door was abit annoying, but honestly i would go again. When we got there i was abit confused as to where to get the keys to the apartment as there are 2 buildings but after we got the keys we walked around 10 minutes into the city and we found it. The tv had netflix, the bathroom had a lovely shower and overall the apartment looked modern and very clean. The apartments are situated very well and I would go back here, however again if you didnt know about the fee just know there is an 100 pound one (120euros), you don't get it back till afew weeks after aswell

I was very nervous about staying here as we booked before I read trip advisor. Lucky I work in this world and try to make up my own mind. We opened the door to the one bed apartment we booked and I was more than pleasantly surprised. The apartment had everything and more we needed for our three night stay, it smelt clean and fresh, on closer inspection it’s needed and good scrub behind sink and the floors were not very clean my socks were black! However, I’m not that fussy, they left cleaning supplies so just gave everything a good wipe. Belfast is a great city and if we ever returned I will certainly be booking this again. We paid the £100 deposit as I would in most hotels no questions asked. I don’t see why this is an issue to some people and the lady on reception was very helpful.

We stayed on the 23rd floor in a 2 bedroom apartment. At first sight it was lovely, views were stunning and well kitted out. At closer inspection the bedroom and bathroom were dirty. Toilet didn’t look like it had been cleaned for weeks, I had to use my shoe to lift the toilet seat! Poo remnants around the bowl and under seat. Nothing a good clean and bleach would have helped! No bin in the bathroom for sanitary items so had to leave a plastic bag on the floor! The bedroom was very dusty, windowsill was thick with dust and the wing ornaments were never cleaned for god knows how long. No mattress protection on bed so the mattress was dirty from previous stays. Carpets were filthy with splashes. Normally I would strip the bed after a stay but thought why should I!!! Dishwasher was dirty. Cups and glasses put away dirty. Such a shame because the location was ideal and views were stunning.
