This waterfront cottage has use of the deep ocean water private dock for swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding, etc. Kayak or paddleboard into town or walk/bike into town along the waterfront trail right from your back door. Full custom kitchen, two decks. spectacular private view. Sunsets are incredible from the back deck. What a wonderful setting and place, just a little walk through a summer meadow from the rail trail and river, and a short walk or bike ride into Belfast. Jon's cottage (he built it!) is perfect - airy, comfortable and well equipped. We saw multiple eagles, a variety of songbirds, a loon and more. A perfect getaway any time of the year, and a lovely base to take in all the beauty of Maine.

Thanksgiving getaway

Could not have asked for anything better
Perfect for our anniversary trip. We loved walking into town on the rail trail under the fall leaves. Quiet, beautiful and peaceful. Kitchen was the most well stocked out any rental we have ever stayed in. Had literally everything you could possibly need. Highly recommend!
