Just 3 minutes from the Great Wall Gate, this Guest House has a wonderful view and a terrace with views to the wall, comfortable chairs and tables to enjoy our time here. It’s simple but it’s enough for one or 2 nights. They give the best they have. Just one note: there are no breakfast available at the property. And the restaurant open late. Better bring some things from Beijing maybe. If you are deciding where to see the Great Wall, don’t hesitate to come to this section. It’s absolutely stunning with the lake views, bridges and all the mountains surrounding. If you want to come in public transports here are my notes: Right directions to Huanghuacheng Lakeside Great Wall - 1) in Beijing go to the Dongzhimen Public Transport Hub (by subway), and take the bus 942 to Shan Li Zhuang. It’s about 1h30 - 2yuan. 2) In the same stop, Shan Li Zhuang, take the bus H21 to Xishuiyu. It’s about 1h30 and 3,5 yuan. You will be dropped few meters from the Great Wall main entrance. If you are coming or going to the airport it’s easy because the Subway Airport Express departed and arrives exactly at Dongzhimen subway station 😉 The Great Wall is one of the wonders of the world and it’s a visit that I will never forget.

We booked the hotel for sleeping the night before the great wall. The hotel itself was well positioned and the personnel kind. Perfect if you get there around 4 pm and visit the great wall at sunset

I chose this hotel for its location. You are less than 1 minute away from the entrance of the Great Wall.
When we reached Beijing at 9.30am, we cab here. Checked in. Went for lunch. Then got into the Great Wall by about 12.45pm and left at 5pm.
This Great Wall is the only section beside a beautiful lake, with a section dropped into the water.
If i come to this section of the Great Wall, I'll stay here again. You can see the Great Wall from the balcony.

The hotel is very clean and had no hassle checking in. There are lots of options to choose from local restaurants if you feel hungry. It's about 2 to 3 minutes from the west gate entrance of the great wall, which is quite convenient. I recommend it. I look forward to staying here on my next adventure trip.

Superbe établissement, terrasse agréable avec une vue magnifique, légèrement en retrait de la rue principale, en montant la rue l’hôtel est 50 mètres avant la billetterie dans une petite ruelle à gauche
Si vous faites toute l’excursion de la muraille, une fois en tout est haut après le pont en verre, descente uniquement possible en téléphérique ( 80 y )
Sinon faire demi tour ( descente uniquement ) avec un retour sympathique de l’autre côté de lac ou par la muraille

民宿定位不準確，到了一定給老闆打電話
兩口子人很好，非常友善
家中的黃狗非常可愛温順
早餐可以，這附近吃飯都挺貴的，一定要定早餐，吃完才有力氣去爬長城
夜晚星空很美很美
住三樓是不錯的選擇

太漂亮的民宿了，頂樓房間外有小天台，可賞月，還可以直觀黃花城水長城，房間衞生清潔，環境幽靜，設施完善，服務親切友善，步行5分鐘即到水長城檢票処，便利店很多應有盡有，民宿飱庁白淨美觀，炭燒虹鱒，板栗紅燒肉，炒板栗樹下華非常好吃的道地菜，值得表揚推薦住宿！非常感謝♥
