Nostalgia S Hotel (Beijing University of Science and Technology National Stadium-Bird's Nest)

Great little hotel - would recommend! Pros - Clean. - The staff was friendly, from the front desk to the cleaning staff to those working the breakfast area. - Bottled water was included. There was also free congee in the evenings and a station in the lobby where you could get small items like toilet paper, combs, hair elastics, etc. for no additional charge. - Hearty breakfast if you choose to opt in for breakfast. Cons - The toilet automatically flushed as you sat on it. Had to unplug the toilet prior to every use to avoid this, then replug to afterwards to flush.

We had a pleasant stay at the The Time Walk Hotel in Datun Road Beijing during our three nights. The front desk personal was extremely friendly and always willing to help. The room was quiet and had all the amenities we could wish for. An extra plus is the washing room in the base floor. With just a short walk of 10 minutes you’ll reach the next subway stations. Additionally, there are some great takeaways on the way there if you feel hungry. Talking about food, the breakfast is fantastic at the hotel, however remember that it is included in the price per night. Nevertheless, don’t miss out!

A lovely small hotel located close to CNCC. The rooms are small but very compact. It's very clean and the service is friendly and warm. From the front desk to housekeeping to Breakfast, everyone was kind and warm. They also provide basic toiletries which is a bonus. They also provide 4 x Water for your daily consumption. You can always get more from the housekeeping at anytime. Breakfast selection is basic but sufficient. Next to the hotel is 7-11 - very convenient. Overall we love this hotel and will stay again if our works require us to be at CNCC.

Overall one of the better hotels I have stayed at for a good price. Great bed, no smell, great mirror, free drinks in the fridge everyday, lots of amenities. Only thing is sheets was not changed once during my 12 day stay… I would’ve requested it but I didn’t so partly my fault.

So it was amazing, the hotel is great, and especially it's employees. They were very responsive and willing to solve any requests, especially is is priceless when you as a guest don't speak Chinese. My room was small but perfect with all necessary stuff. Subway stations are pretty close, around 8-10 on foot to Beishatan station and almost the same to the Olympic park. Plenty of low price places to eat with locals.

The room was reasonable size. clean and warm. The staff are excellent! They provide porridge as late supper for travelers. My boy loved it. There are also travel tips, very much thoughtful. Great experience.
