I stayed for 1 night...I arrived in the evening and did the Great Wall night tour and then visited it during the day. The hotel was great for helping me with all of my questions. I woke up to a view of The Great Wall and bright sunshine...it was lovely. The hotel had everything I needed for my stay. it is walking distance to Gubei Watertown and The Great Wall. Lots of restaurants in the area. Also walking distance to the P2 parking lot where the express bus from Dongzhimen arrives and departs.

We hv stayed here when we needed to be closed to the Gubei Water Town , Check-in was easy.Ours was a short stay and the room met our need on the weekend.On the weekend, it was a great place to grab some delicious chinese food and take to the room. The convenience of proximity to Water Town would be enough reason for us to stay there again. I would recommend this hotel if that convenience is important to you.The landlord is so nice person too. Avalable to communicated with him via wechat.

Really good location, walking distance to the entrance to the great wall and the Watertown of Gubei 🫶🏻 the rooms are clean and very comfortable, I would definitely recommend and come back 👍🏼

The hotel is located pretty much at the entrance of Gubei Watertown. It is not quite a hotel, it’s more like an airbnb. We couldn’t find the front desk so we had to call to service. He picked us up where we were standing and walked us to the room. If you don’t speak Chinese you may try to use WeChat and chat with them. The room was a 2 floors apartment, with a little balcony with view to the Great Wall. It is a pretty standard room. Advice to bring your shampoo and soap, the products in the shower were smelling super bad. Around the building there are some food options and also a little grocery store.

Communication with the owner was excellent via WeChat and all my questions were answered very quickly. I was kindly given a room upgrade and it was lovely and big and comfortable. It was very bright with an excellent view and you can see clearly see the Great Wall lights at night. There is a convenience store downstairs for anything you need. The entrance to Gubei Water town is only a few minutes walk so it is very convenient. The shower, Wi-Fi and air con all worked great. The bed is a little hard but normal for Asia and I am happy with it. I was very satisfied with a my 2 night stay.

Room and the living hall are clean. Price is very reasonable compared to those inside the watertown

The hotel is ideally located next to the town. There are convenience stores nearby. We had a pleasant night! Thank you for the warm welcome.

The owner was very nice. We couldn't find the entrance to the community and he came to pick us up. Also he gave us a bigger apartment than the one booked. The apartment is very spacious and stocked with everything you need. Fantastic location with amazing views of the Great Wall.

Superb host ! Opt for room wt balcony and Great Wall view , you will enjoy and spectacular night view of both great wall and water town !

The villa is located just outside the touristy Gubei Water Town. It takes about 5-10 minutes of slow walking to get to the entrance of the water town. The host is super nice. Even though we reserved the small room, the room got updated to the bigger room with balcony and the view at town and Simatai Great Wall for free. The view is amazing! During day time and night time. The host was very helpful, as we asked some questions and he guided where to find storage of our luggage nearby after check out.

The room is very close to the Gubeikou scenic area, it is spacious and clean. The view from the balcony is excellent as you can see the Simatai great wall clearly, excellent for taking photos. The hotel receptionist picked me up and he was very kind and helpful. Definitely recommend it!

The boss was super enthusiastic and welcoming, answered all my questions and helped me with many things. The facilities are also very good, the room is right at the entrance of Gubei ancient town, very convenient. I will definitely come back to this hotel next time I visit Gubei.

Cozy and simple furnishings, but perfect for our stay. Next to the ancient village, has a kitchen if you want to make food and dogs allowed! Great views of the Great Wall from the balcony

We stayed for a night for the night tour at Simatai Great Wall. The host was very kind to give us a free upgrade to the balcony room. I did not notice to add the host's WeChat prior to checking in, but the residents in the area were all very kind and helpful to help me get in contact with the host and complete the checkin process. Highly recommend this homestay if you're in Gubei Water Town!
