I had a wonderful experience staying at Mercure Tiananmen Hotel Beijing. The hospitality was excellent — I truly felt the warmth from the team. The location is very central, perfect for sightseeing, and it’s super easy to catch a DiDi from the hotel. Special thanks to the amazing staff: Renzhende, Kang Yanjie, Li Rong, and Vivien — all so friendly and helpful. I even got a free room upgrade, which was such a nice surprise! The hotel is modern and smart, with cool air-conditioning and everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Extra thanks to Vivien, who kindly helped me buy tickets to local attractions — really appreciate the effort! Highly recommended and I’ll definitely come back on my next visit to Beijing!

The room was small, resulting in tight spaces to walk after opening our luggages. The carpets outside the rooms have a musky smell. As there are no lifts in this hotel, you would have to carry your luggages up the stairs. On the positive, the staff were helpful and there was an evening music (gu qin) performance at the charming courtyard.

Staff are extremely helpful and friendly, particularly the gentleman with glasses on nights and the lady with the low ponytail on day/evening shifts. Both were quick to pull out the translation app and answer any questions. Never made me feel like an inconvenience for only speaking English. The gentleman kindly helped bringing my lugguage downstairs when checking out early in the morning, and assisted with communicating with the taxi driver. Free fruits and a selection of soft drinks, water and teas/coffee replenished daily when the room is cleaned. Slippers and an amenity kit were provided. Black out curtains in room. Beds are comfortable. Short walk to Qianmen Station which is well connected for getting around the city. Near Dashilan which is great for shopping and local food. I would recommend this hotel to others.

Very good hotel. The crew is very helpful. A bit small room but beside it everything was perfect.

Tiny room. We’re upgraded to a larger room, but even so, space is small. Staff is kind and helpful, but does not speak English at all. Located 12 min from metro station. Good hotel amenities.

Great location. Juz right beside qianmen. Didi can't choose the drop off outside the hotel but u can juz walk abit to the hotel. The hotel is pretty. With free performance at the courtyard. Room is pretty small. Which is the only down point. But service from the desk is great n friendly. Free bottle water n fruits !

This little gem is 20 min away by foot from the Southern Tiananmen Square entrance, in the middle of Hutongs and with Dashilar district close by. A classic inn with tiny, but modern rooms and a beautifully decorated inner court. Their most precious feature though is the kind and friendly staff. They helped with my luggage (2 floors without elevator), organized a shuttle to the flag-rising ceremony at 4 am, helped with any issues and offered luggage storing after check-out. In the evening you can listen to a talented lady playing Guzheng, Chinese zither, in the courtyard. A lovely experience.

所有員工都很熱情，很主動幫忙搬行李，出門也主動給我們瓶裝水 。 有一天晚上需要洗衣服，但人比較多，前台直接幫我排隊，洗好送回我房間 。 房間很舒服 。床墊是高級貨 。 我們一家在北京過半時間都住這，出行方便 ，不用租車 。

一座老建築改造的民俗，內部設施很現代，智能馬桶，服務超級人性化，晚上有古箏表演，值得體驗感受
