aimoHotel (Beijing Public Welfare Xiqiao Subway Station)

I have never seen a hotel as dirty as this one. When we talked to the people working there, they told us all the rooms were dirty, but the next second refused to admit there even was a problem. They said the (very obvious) mould was RUST (????). We were very concerned for our health because even the AC was mouldy, and the air coming out of it smelled horrid. They said the rooms were too hard to clean, but even the cups were incredibly dirty, so I do not believe anyone even tried to clean anything there. The water it the shower does not drain, the bathroom doors don't close, the door alarm goes of if you do not slam you door shut (or kick it from the outside like the people working there did with ours...), we could literally hear every word (and even join conversations) that were happening in other rooms. For the love of god, DO NOT GO THERE. They refused to admit the room was dirty and refused to give us a refund or even compensation. When we asked to change the room, they showed us even dirtier ones and then wanted us to pay an extra 100¥ per night (per room) extra. Also, we are reasonably sure some of the people working there were on *****. And there were bugs that looked rather similar to bedbugs. I am also probably forgetting a lot of other things as this experience was just THAT bad. Sadly, I can only upload 20 pictures, but I can assure you that there was more. A lot more.

Great hotel, good service at reception, clean, great location near restaurant, subway and bus stop. 10 min walk from a mall. Good bed and clean shower.

The guy at the reception is my idol. He was always kind and sincerely helped me each time I've asked for something, although I had to use a translator to communicate with him. Having a separate tv, ac, kettle and bathroom is awesome for that price. The room wasn't really clean. There was a lot of dust under the bed. It strongly smelled cigarettes. They give out two packs of tooth brushes and earplugs. They have a washing machine and a dryer but not an iron. The metro stations are close and the surrounding area is very nice. Each time when I came back after I was out they put two bottles of water on my table. They have a special counter near the reception for your delivery orders. I would recommend this place and stay here again if I get a chance. For this price it's worth it
