This is an old hotel that needs updating. Furniture in room was old and needs repair. Wallpapers are pealing of on places. Definitely not to the standards of Regent name. Sound proofing is not good and the hotel is close to the busy road. AC is from last century. On other hand housekeeping is great. Breakfast is good, with possible improvements. Prices in lobby are crazy high. One simple (and not that good) cake was 130 yuan. Overall, I would NOT recommend this hotel.

Our family enjoyed a wonderful stay at the Regent in Beijing. The staff were generous with their patience and smiles, and the concierges were knowledgeable and helpful. The breakfast is a little pricey but you definitely get what you pay for - excellent quality and variety of food. On one day we headed out very early to see the Great Wall and since breakfast would not be open yet, the Regent kindly packed us all little picnic bags to eat en route. If you are a small family with two children I highly recommend the Family Suite. It was so enjoyable to spend a day touring Beijing and then return for rest and recharging at The Regent Beijing.

Service and room (though outdated) are “as expected”as this is a 5 star hotel and stay is expensive. Breakfast is normal but expensive. Nothing much that excite us during the stay. Will try other hotels the next time.

I stayed here for one night because a friend and I were trying the brunch here and then going out after and I live super far from the city center. The brunch was pretty good; however, some of the food could have been more fresh (prosciutto and the olives) and it would be nice if the shrimp came with real cocktail sauce and not spicy mayo. The server was very nice and made sure to keep filling our bubbles. The atmosphere was very calm and there was some nice live piano music playing. Definitely a quiet brunch compared to some others in the Jing. A nice place to take grandma. The room was nice, albeit outdated and a bit musty. The bed was super comfortable!

Really great breakfast, one of the best we had in the world. The metro station is just on the corner of the building so it is very easy to go anywhere there. Spa, pool, and etc really on high level! Plus live music at evenings... i highly recomends you this hotel!

Nice hotel, although it's a bit old. Metro station next to hotel very convenient. Not much food choice around, need to wak to APM mall nearest.

Although the hotel is abit old, the room was spacious, elegantly designed, and impeccably clean. The luxurious bedding to the thoughtful amenities, made it feel like a true retreat. The view from my room was also stunning, offering a glimpse of Beijing’s skyline that added to the ambiance. Ambience at the hotel lobby was awesome. With a grand piano, high ceilings and floor to ceiling windows facing the garden. What truly stood out was the exceptional service from the staff. Every interaction was met with genuine warmth and a willingness to go above and beyond to ensure my comfort. From the concierge’s expert recommendations to the housekeeping staff’s meticulous attention, I felt well cared for throughout my stay. The Regent Beijing exceeded my expectations in every way, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city. I look forward to returning in the future!

Everything was extremely clean and staff were very friendly. The location is perfect as it is within walking distance to 王府井 and right next to the subway. There is also a nice bar called Long Fong right downstairs.

Excellent service and all around an exceptional deal for the money. Very close to all the sites. Great staff. Hotel does need a renovation upgrade.

Luxe hotel at a very convenient location, only 15 mins walk to the forbidden city and the Wangfujing, 5 mins walk to metro station. Very friendly and helpful front desk. Nice and clean swimming pool. It will be easier if the waiters can also speak English in the restaurants.

Spacious Family suite , room needs maintenance; master room HBO and other cable TV no reception, master room shower room door is going to fall apart soon, one of the sink water tab not working, shower room awful drainage smell , living room powder room door won’t close …..
