HanTing Hotel (Beijing Railway Station Subway Station)

We had a great experience at this hotel. The hospitality at reception was warm and professional, and they allowed us to store our luggage, which was a huge help. The location is excellent, just a short walk from Beijing Railway Station, making travel super convenient. The facilities were impressive—delicious breakfast buffet option, two laundry and dryer machines, and even a robot delivery service! Our room was spacious with a comfortable bed, and housekeeping did a fantastic job cleaning and refilling essentials daily. The only downside was the air conditioning, which was a bit noisy and required frequent manual fan speed adjustments.

Room is moderate. Breakfast is chinese style and just normal. The only perfect thing is location. Just walking distance from railway station

This review is aimed more at travelers from the US, or western travelers. The location is easy access to the Beijing train station but hard to search on many map apps. To get to the hotel you have to walk through a gated parking halfway down a dark alley type area past the airport bus station for the train station. There are quite a bit of restaurants and convenience stores nearby, the best seem to be about 2 blocks away in a complex of nicer hotels. There isn't anything flashy about this hotel but it is also about half the price of many of the hotels in the area. There is hard floors instead of carpet which actually helps the room. The room is large especially compared to other hotels we have stayed in Asia. The rooms could be cleaned more deeply, but wasn't considered dirty either. The halls could use updating as the building appears to be renovated on the cheap end for the purpose of the hotel. The staff seemed confused on check-in to having US/Western visitors, but after a brief period of confusion potentially relating to our 10 day non-visa (TWOV) instead of having a visa may have been the reason. Having translate app helped alot in communicating. I believe this hotel was set to domestic customers only before Chinese regulations changed a few years back to allow all customers. Beds were hard, but not rock solid. They seemed to have age to them. Breakfast is Chinese focused with fruit, rice, dumplings etc. There is free laundry on site.
