Beijing Dongdan Hotel

Location good very near Metro station. Roads outside for taxi or Didi. Many Breakast around and one Peking duck Restaurant beside our hotel. Family Room enough space for our 4 luggages. Small window no view. Beds big enough for 2 adults. Bathroom shower , shampoo, bodywash, handwash Bath towels hand towels all fine. RoomSlippers. Enough tables chairs inside. enough lights. Bathroom slippers provided. Our room is infront of the fire escape which is good. But located the farthest area.  They offer local Chinese breakfast at Rmb25 per head. They sell assorted drinks which is very convenient. Laundry machine is available. Free China Tea at the lobby but we were not able to catch it available 😅 Manager speaks english well. Receptionist gave us toothbrush , tissue rolls.  Some need to upgrade: Bathroom no separate cover for the bath so the whole floor gets wet. Even the tissue gets wet because of the sprinkles of water.  If you are a bidet user, No bidet for the toilet bowl. No big or medium mirror in the room. Toilet door is outdated hard to use or push pull if you are not used to.  Receptionist cant speak straight english, only by words, they use an english Translator. Overall we stayed good & comfy. Manager helped us book our car service to Beijing Capital Airport.

The hotel has a perfect location, it's very clean and the staff very helpul! The breakfast is tasty! We definetely recomend it!

The bed was quite wide and everything else felt small. Location is really close to Wangfujin. The room window was really high and don't forget to plug in the insect thing. Breakfast was a buffet and you need to get there early, if not the food might run out. But they occasionally refresh them. Aand the reception guy was very helpful, despite the language barrier. Overall, It's alright, but nowhere near perfect.

The hotel is clean. The food is tasty and the price is affordable. The location is good.

Small cozy hotel with excellent location within walking distance to WangFuJin DaJie which my wife and I took advantage of by walking to QuanJiDe reputed to be the oldest Peking Duck restuarant. The hotel also serves a prettt good breakfast buffet spread. Downside of this hotel is that it’s in a courtyard off the road and so three DiDi drivers had difficulty finding us - although all managed to find us eventually. Other downside is that the room was very hot and stuffy (granted the outside tenparature was around -8 to -10 degrees Celsius when we were there) and we were told that it was centrally controlled so little we could do about adjusting the temperature.

The family location is fine. Only 5 minutes walk from metro station. But the room was too narrow with two beds and there was no cloths cabinet. Room was clean but the toilet hand soap it seems the put water with the liquid soap in the bottle to make it looks full 😄. I think it was enough for one night stay.
