Pros: the location is excellent with the subway less than 5 minutes walk away. Furthermore the Temple of Heaven is also within walking distance. The room are nice and cozy with adequate heating for winter. Very good water heater for shower. The best part is the price is very affordable compared to others.
Cons: the only deficiency is the 3pax room is a bit dated (whereas the 2pax room looks like renovated and new). Nearby not many restaurants for breakfast (or maybe we didn't search hard enough)
Overall excellent value for our stay in RJ Brown.

- The hotel did not have hot water for three days. There was a room with its own water heater that was made available for guests to use for showers.
- The location is great, as you can walk to several points of interest.
- They also allowed us to do a late check-out for free due to the inconvenience with the hot water.

Location was very good. 5 minutes walk to Tianqiao metro station and 10 minutes walk to the Tample of Heaven. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was a bit small though and condition wasn’t perfect. However, toilet and shower room was nice and clean. Unfortunately, there were no hot water for the first 2 days of our 5-day stay. The manager was apologetic and offered us a 20% discount as a gesture of good will.

A boutique hotel near Temple of Heaven & Natural History museum. Good quiet location away from the main road. Accessible to local eateries.
Receptionists were very helpful in assisting with directions.

The location is great and the staff are helpful. But the room is dirty and moldy. I found dust in the window . It is not clean at all. It smells. I have two nights but it is not comfortable at all. I just put up with it cos of the location. The internet drops on and off. I even put some offset to fight bugs
