Zhongyu Select Hotel

Walking distance to restaurants and small shopping mall. There’s an open space carpark nearby the hotel. Near Beijing Xi Zhan (北京西站）metro station (Line 7 & 9) and Beijing West Railway Station, so is convenient. Need to take the toothbrush, comb at the counter. Cleanliness I give it as good only, as never provide floor mat at the bathroom, else will be great.

First time solo traveler here from the Philippines. First of all, this hotel is very clean! I booked a queen-size room, and while the bed itself was large and comfortable, the overall room space was a bit tight. I had two suitcases (24” and 20”), and it was manageable, but if you’re traveling with more than two bags, it might get a little cramped. The room had a minimalist, zen-inspired view that I absolutely loved. There were no windows, but somehow the design still made it feel peaceful and cozy — definitely a unique touch! The bathroom was well-equipped with essentials: shampoo, body wash, conditioner and a small hand soap by the sink. No bidet, but the shower had both hot and cold water with good pressure. Towels provided included two large body towels and two face towels. There was also a space to hang clothes, a comfy office-style chair, hair dryer, and even plastic and disposable slippers. There’s also bottled waters provided. Toothbrushes weren’t in the room but are available at the front desk upon request. One downside was the layout of the hotel itself — from the elevator to my room felt a bit like navigating a maze. Not a dealbreaker, but something to be aware of. If you get room number 43**, you’ll understand what I meant. I booked a room with breakfast included, and I was pleasantly surprised. It’s a full buffet with plenty of variety, and everything I tried was tasty. Breakfast is served from 6:30 AM to 9:30 AM, so be sure to get there on time. The check in process was also quick and easy. As for location, getting to the hotel from Beijing West Railway Station was a bit tricky. I believe the closest exit is the North Exit, but be prepared to cross a pedestrian bridge — which can be a challenge if you’re carrying heavy luggage. Once you’re settled in, though, the hotel is conveniently near a metro station, which makes getting around easy, even if it’s not close to major tourist sites. It’s also easy to book a DiDi from this hotel. Overall, I’m satisfied with my stay, especially given the price. It was the most affordable option I found at the time, and while it’s not perfect, it offers great value for first time solo travelers.

The hotel is great, the staff too.but you can hear people laughing and the smell of cigarette is disgusting.

Very close to North Square of Beijing West Station with 5 mins walk to Beijing subway line 7(direct to universal resort) and High Speed Rail Entrance gate. Located in same building complex with shopping mall with plenty of restaurants(include 2 halal restaurants) and a food court available. Staffs do not speak English well and communication were mostly thru translation but they are helpful with services, so don't hesitate to reach out for help. *Get on the pedestrian bridge and turn to your right and climb down the stairs or escalator. hotel are right after the corner. I am not requesting room cleaning daily but housekeeping still providing 2 water bottles every day and replacing the used towel in your room and does some cleaning. Many complaining in review about hot room and centralized air conditioning but my room is all fine, not hot at all. As well the slippery bathroom floor but hotel provided shower mat which helped a lot to prevent slip during showering. Only complaint would be the room allocated to me was to deep into the building that my phone can't reached for line at all. I'm not using VPN so hotel wifi not helping. Guess no choice as I booked for room with no window but if possible, try request to not have room 2027/2025 or booked room with window instead. Certainly deserved a consideration if you wish to stay near to Beijing West Station! I would return to same hotel for next trip to Beijing in the future.

The room is quite spacious. Good breakfast. Location just across the Beijing West Railway Station. But, it's about 5 mins walk to the subway station and to get to the hotel from the train station or subway can be tricky for first time traveller. Poor room insulation & the drain for the toilet is bad, so a bit slippery. Highly recommend because the staff is so helpful (although they don't speak English so get yourself a translator app to communicate), they even help me to arrange my room so that I don't have to switch room as I've made a separate booking for additional stay in Beijing. On top of that, the price is considered worthy since you got halal food nearby and plenty of restaurants, shops and a supermarket to get some snacks or fruits & groceries.

Nice stay for 3night! The hotel was nearby to BeijingXi Railway Station about 350m walk and 7min by car. The bed was very comfortable, and the room was spacious for 3pax as showed pictures. The receptionist was so friendly and helpful assisting me with laundry, luggages, questions, and anything else I needed!! Lovely stay here at Zhongyu Select Hotel!
