Lakeside Studio in Beechworth provides excellent accommodation for visitors to Beechworth. Located a 12 minute walk from Beechworth town centre, it is comfortable, clean and is well appointed and equipped with all the every day necessities. The weekend of our stay was very much 'middle of winter'. We were kept warm and cosy by air conditioning and heaters in the bedrooms. Owners Heidi Freeman and Jim Didolis provide information sheets on local attractions, services and restaurants in advance, which enabled our group plan our visit to the region and to make timely bookings to local restaurants and breweries. The Studio is highly recommended and will be our accommodation choice for future stays.

The host was very friendly and helpful when contacted re accommodation in Beechworth. Lakeside Studio is very close to Lake Samball, in a quiet location and only ~5-10 minutes walk from the centre of Beechworth. The accommodation was very clean and had all the amenities we require on a holiday. If ever returning to Beechworth, we would choose this place again.

Perfectly located on Lake Sambell just a short stroll to town. Our big family booked out both the chalet and studio and really enjoyed our stay. Heidi and Jim made sure all our needs were met. Breakfast provisions, robes and slippers for all guests. It was great and we will continue to return for our annual family trip 😊

Beautiful building inside and out. I would love to book again for all the family and friends. Hosts Heidi and Jim so helpful and wonderful to talk to. My family love staying here as my house only has one bedroom. Booking in here is wonderful as we love the atmosphere and the views are wonderful.

We have stayed here a number of times before. The house is wonderful. The beds are amazing, linen is divine and kitchen is fully equipped for all kinds of cooking. It is such a lovely place to stay and it has beautiful views of the lake. The hosts are very generous and accommodating. We will be back.

We went away with family to catch up, great halfway destination between Canberra and Ballarat. We had 6 adults and two small children who all had a fantastic time. Lots of things showed our hosts went the extra mile, with breakfast things provided and extra towels. House was very tidy and the beds comfortable.

Excellent location near the lake and town. Very comfortable for 2 couples with 2 bedrooms. Warm and well presented and appointed with kitchen implements. Close to walking tracks. Clean and well maintained.

What excellent service from our booking to departure. Heidi and Jim provided very useful local information before our arrival. The studio is wonderfully situated next to the lake and was warm and cosy and had every amenity provided that you could wish for , comfortable beds, quality linens , beautiful bathrobes and unexpected breakfast provisions. A short walk around the lake is a must and a stroll to the main street for cafes and shopping. A great place to stay in Beechworth

Beechworth is really such a lovely place so i strongly recommend everybody to visit this place specially lakeside chalet. The house we stayed has a fantastic view by the lake. The kitchen is very well equipt and the house is very clean. Paul, Daryl and I had a really lovely time staying and visiting this lovely place so we thank Heidi and Jimmy for showing us around town and giving us a good accomodtion. We are so looking forward to come back in this lovely place.
