Premier Inn Bedford (Priory Marina)

We had a good check in the receptionist was very friendly and very helpful. When I got to my room as I opened the door you could smell damp in the room. Toilet seat was very loose so reported it to reception. Cobwebs on wall. Bed was very comfy. Had great night sleep. Room was good size. Hotel is in a beautiful spot on Priory marina had lovely walk round . Great memories as I am from bedford it was lovely to come back and visit.

This was my first visit to this particular hotel last week. Plenty of parking spaces and friendly staff behind reception. The hotel itself is run down and in need of a refurb. The room was shabby with cobwebs around the light fittings. On a positive note, the location itself is excellent. Located in a country park and a short walk down the river into Bedford town centre. There is also a decent pub next door serving the usual stuff.

Stayed at the Premier Inn Bedford Priory Marina for 1 night with my wife as we were attending a Wedding reception. On first impressions, the hotel was in a quiet area with plenty of parking. After pressing the buzzer at reception we received a friendly welcome and checked in quickly. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed, the shower was great with a waterfall shower head and separate shower head to take off. We had a great night sleep with no disturbances during the night. Will definitely recommend if ever staying in Bedford again.

Great location by a peaceful lake - comfortable rooms and great service. The bed was particularly comfortable and we had our best night's sleep in ages. easy access to the town (by car) and good parking. Rooms were quiet and well equipped. Appreciated the tea and coffee facility.

On a positive note the staff were excellent- friendly, chatty and outstanding ambassadors for their company. The hotel itself however looks tired and needs investment. There are also much better value establishments available that are far more comfortable. I fear sadly that Premier Inns have lost their way. It’s unlikely I would return here and next time will shop around.

Beautiful location on the country park and marina. Hotel needs updating but room itself was acceptable. Clean and comfortable but low on plug sockets for chargers etc. No air con which we knew when booking but there was a fan in the room for us so was happy with that. Water pressure VERY POOR it just dribbled out. Very disappointing for us and when we told reception were told it was low in the area. To us this let us down and would make us think twice about staying here again. The Beefeater next door was very nice. Friendly staff and good food but needs booking as it is not big.
