Hotel Select

We had a wonderful stay at the Hotel Select. The hotel is in an excellent location in the centre of Beaulieu Sur Mer. The hotel itself is spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. The room was also perfect. The management (who I believe may be the owners) are very welcoming and friendly. You can feel the genuine hospitality. We would recommend Hotel Select and will bee returning ourselves in the future. 😊

Just spent a week at the Hotel Select, in a pleasant corner room facing the Place below with its daily market. The room & bath were always very clean; the bed was comfortable; the management was gracious & accommodating; the breakfast room is cheerful & the breakfasts plentiful. At least during my stay, the room rate didn't include either the breakfast or the local tax on the breakfast. That said at Eur. 11 it offered a plentiful & tasty breakfast. The management asks that guests use the tiny elevator only when moving luggage, so one can get good exercise going up & down the narrow staircase depending on which floor your room is on. The on-site manager(s) speak English as well as French & I presume other languages as well. While I was there, I heard Italian & Spanish spoken among guests.I didn't have a car so have no observation about parking. My room was quiet & peaceful with a view of the cliffs behind the town over rooftops. There are two excellent cafes right across the street, & a don't-miss chocolatier/patisserie just down the street. Also an excellent pharmacy across the street.

Joelle , the owner, was so lovely . She explained everything with patience and gave us everything we requested and always replied to emails quickly and efficiently. A kettle in the room — aaahhh- I could have my cuppa’. The room was perfect with lovely artwork. The bathroom was modern and very clean as was the room. I really couldn’t fault Hotel Select

Were all of those amazing reviews accurate? Yes! Absolutely! Charming hotel in a stellar location. Huge thanks to Isabelle and Joelle - we loved it and will return next year hopefully! We particularly enjoyed the superb continental breakfast, the cleanliness, the inclusion of a safe and fridge in the room, the terrific transport connections, the kind and helpful staff and Jodie the pup!

For a 2 star hotel, this place is really good and affordable. Three of us stayed here for about a week, and our room had a view of the village square and the mountains. Very pretty. There is a market every morning in the square, so it might get a bit noisy in the wee hours when they start setting up. It wasn’t unbearable though. In the evening it was never noisy even with all the cafes around. The room itself was well-appointed with lots of shelves for the luggage. Also, there was a mini fridge which was very appreciated in the summer heat. Best part was that is a two-minute walk from the train station. You can walk to Cap Ferret and take a bus to Eze village. Staff super helpful.

We had a beautiful 8 day stay at the Hôtel Select. The location is superb, our room was clean and neat and had a wonderful view of the town square and the Corniche to the east. The hotel is in the heart of Beaulieu and walking distance to just about everything such as good restaurants, the marina, shops and the train station. As far as location, it doesn't get any better. We had a lovely third floor corner room which was just large enough for my wife and I. The room was spacious and quiet, filled with the warm colors of the Mediterranean sun during the day and cozy-comfortable at night. Each morning retook the staircase to the premiére etage for le petit dejeuner. 7.5 ero per person. Delicious and well worth the charge. We had our choice of hot beverages, café au lait, etc., juices, fruit, yogurt and pastries. All delicious. Staff was very friendly, warm and helpful. They encouraged us in our attempts to speak French. My wife is much better at it than I am. Beaulieu is such a beautiful and charming place we can't say enough about it and the people who reside there. Hotel Select is one block from the train station and just a little more to the bus stop. We used both modes of transportation. 1.5 ero for a bus trip to Nice, 3 on the train. Easy to take the trolley from the airport to the train stop and then to Beaulieu. Easy, easy and fun. Going east, the train is just a few stops away from Monte Carlo if one is interested in the glitz. We will definitely come back and stay at the Hotel when we are in the area again.
