Lombok Stanley Garden Villas

Liked · Beautiful place with well maintained gardens and nice clean pool. We stayed in the two level villa with a view on a pond and we absolutely loved it. All the staff is nice and helpful and the owner is always there for a lovely chat. Even though villas are situated next to a main road the place is very quiet, you cannot hear traffic, you can really find your peace there. There is a lot lot of art on every corner, we absolutely loved it. And owner loves animals and has a lot of pets running around which are very friendly :) Place is close to some supermarkets and warungs. Please also bear in mind that Lombok is a Muslim country and there are mosques everywhere. This place is surrounded by them and as we were there in Ramadan time we did not get much sleep. It was very loud until late at night and they start prayers very early. This is a case in whole Lombok, not only in this place so we accepted it as we were guests in this island. Disliked · You could see some serous wear and tear in the villa. Even though the surrounding area is very well maintained the villa we stayed in need some work. It is being eaten by termites and you can see it everywhere. The bathroom could also use some updating but it was big and clean.. Villa itself is quite dark, it could use some extra windows and the existing windows mostly did not have curtains so it was not very private as there are guests walking around the property and you can easily look into other villas.
