This is a very nice, small hotel perfect located in the center of Bath, close to everything, including train station. Very friendly staff. Lovely breakfast with a lot of choices. The lounge and bar downstairs is really something different.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Eight. Location could not have been more perfect. Adjacent to the Roman baths and the historic abbey, but tucked away on a pedestrian courtyard so it felt like a peaceful retreat. With the windows open, we could hear street musicians playing. We stayed in room 15 with a large freestanding tub, which was quite luxurious. Our room was cleaned daily (no longer a given) and all the staff we encountered were very pleasant. I would definitely recommend Eight to a friend.

Great location . Warm welcome . Good restaurant recommendations from the hotel ( we dined at Oak restaurant next door to the hotel & also Scallop Shell - both excellent) . The bed was very comfortable. The room and hotel were very clean . We would certainly stay here again

I researched bath hotels for ages as I wanted to take my husband to bath for a weekend. I was a bit worried as eight is a b&b and I wanted luxury but after reading the reviews thought I would give it a go! It didn't disappoint!! We got there early but they let us check in as our room was ready. We had the deluxe with the mustard chairs and bath in the bedroom and it really was beautiful! The bed was soooo comfy, the place was spotless and had loads of space. The view was incredible and looked out onto a square, we could have been in France! All toiletries were amazing too, all white company stuff. They even thought of ear plugs which were used because it was a bit noisy at night time. But this is to be expected with the location. Location was perfect for exploring bath pubs restaurants and shops! And the breakfast was delish and the perfect portion. We loved the honesty bar and just loved the concept of it and enjoyed the cosy atmosphere. I really have nothing negative to say about this place, staff were so friendly and welcoming. All in all, I'd rate this a 10 if I could! If you want a romantic trip away with a bit of luxury, go to eight! You won't regret it!

The best hotel we have stayed in Bath, having over the years stayed in others. This beautiful boutique hotel has the loveliest curated rooms, kudos to the interior designer. The location is superb, in the heart of the city-everything is close by from the Abbey, restaurants, Roman Baths etc. We went during the Xmas market which added to the charm. This time we booked both townhouses for our children's 18th birthday party. From helping with the planning to execution everything was perfect- we had 40 very happy young adults! A huge shout out to all the staff, especially the ever so efficient Leni, Carla and Nico. Thank you. The Honesty Bar downstairs is cosy and inviting- it was the perfect venue for an after party. And not to forget the breakfast, the morning after which hit the spot. We cannot recommend this hotel enough.

We absolutely loved our stay here! Booked so we could visit the christmas market and see the sights of Bath. The guesthouse is minutes away from The Abbey and the Roman Baths so perfect location! Our room was clean, had everything we needed, plus lots of little extras which was a nice touch! The staff were lovely, nothing was too much trouble, and breakfast was delicious! We'll definitely be visiting again.
