White Guest House

This guest house was on a very quiet street about a 10 minute walk from the city center. It was also in the neighborhood called Widcombe. There were several places to grab a bite to eat. We enjoyed our room in the guest house which had a mini refrigerator as well as the usual electric tea kettle AND a keurig type coffee maker. Breakfast was eaten in our room (food tray, table and chairs in the room). We enjoyed chatting with our host, Steve. We would return to this very well run guest house.

We had an amazing stay at the White Guest House. The room was super clean. Everything we needed was inside the room, including a super filling Continental breakfast. The city centre and the river are all a short walking distance from this accomodation. Steve is an amazing host. He is always available if you need any help, and made our stay very special. Once we were locked outside our room, because we forgot the keys inside. Steve came to help us even though it was very late at night. We were so grateful. When we go to Bath in future, we definitely want to stay at Steve's place. We highly recommend this place!

Super lovely great hospitality intimate and lovely space close to everything and couldn't ask for better. Steve was helpful and super kind the facilities were thorough and thoughtful the area quiet and the ambience homey and welcoming. We loved it.

Steve is a wonderful host, and the room was spacious with everything we could need--and more! There was a nice little sitting area outside the bedroom and bathroom. Steve gives you all kinds of treats-coffee, tea, cocoa, juice, milk, cheese, chocolates, pastries, etc. We slept so well and really enjoyed our room. It's just a short walk into Bath city centre-maybe 10 minutes.

Our room was immaculately clean & had everything you could need. It was like home from home and included lots of generous little touches. There was a brilliant supply of hot drinks & a fridge in the room with plenty of milk & other supplies for breakfast etc. We really enjoyed the breakfast supplies which were laid out on a table in our room: pastries, cereals, fruit, porridge. No time constraints to be down & ready for breakfast at a set time which really suited us. TV & Wi-Fi also supplied in the room. Brilliant location for walking into Bath & exploring the city. The owner, Steve, had a map ready for us & gave directions and tips for things we might want to do. Also they were as helpful as they could possibly be with the parking situation which is out of the owners hands (there is a charge but from what we could see there isn’t anywhere there isn’t a charge so don’t be put off!). Absolutely brilliant stay, we will return!

We have just returned from 3 nights in Bath staying at The White House.We were given a twin room at rear of property which was lovely ,it had a little room just off the bedroom to have breakfast and to make drinks .The breakfast was great great choice of cereal,croissants and yoghurt in fridge.There was a kettle and a coffee maker plus an extensive choice of tea,cofee and hot chocolate.Steve made sure this was replenished daily and even left us some biscuits and cake. The bathroom was great,lovely big shower and very clean. We would recommend staying here to anyone visiting Bath,it is very close to the centre and Steve goes the extra mile to make sure your stay is memorable. We would like to thank him for everything and will definately stay there again.
