Checked in late after a long day in London. First I couldn't get in to check in until some people who where also staying came in and let me in. Then had an issue with he vending machine not giving me what I paid for. The room was basic but didn't need a lot and bed was comfy, then the problems really began. I discovered the air con wasn't working on what was a really hit evening but they had left me a big noisy fan which was less than ideal. Then after taking a shower, I lied down to relax only to have the next door neighbour come in (its now 1am) and start shouting and arguing with each other, so had to out on my headphones but after nodding off, I was woken up by them arguing again at what must have been about 2am, this continued for the next hour or so. Breakfast was your average beefeater buffet, nothing special but did the job and they did seem to have less options than other beefeaters I have been to. When i went to check out the lady on the front desk didn't ask me how my stay was or anything as you would expect, she just said drop your key in the box and that was it. Not sure i would return to this premier inn tbh, as there are others in the Basingstoke area that i would probably try before returning to this one.

Friendly staff. Comfortable rooms which are clean. Good location. Free parking on site which is always good these days

The worst Premier Inn ever! Dated decoration, no aircon, room facing main road, had to open the window as it is soo hot, too much noise, no sleep all night. Constant foot steps from the room above!! One tovel per room and one face towel!! No bottled water in room, no bottle water in restaurant, had to take a pint of water to the room. The only good thing was the bed but never will stay here again.

Terrible service. Booked a room for 3 nights with breakfast......when we arrived just to let you know we can't book you in for breakfast on Sunday as they took busy, but the manager has said if you go and speak to him on Sunday he would do his best to get you in but if you don't get in come back and we will give you a refund (that's big of them).......when asked why as we booked the breakfast in advance we were told it doesn't work like that we don't book it till you arrive. So when asked I said it was likely we would need to be at the restaurant at 7am to stand a chance as everyone would be trying to get in we was told yes!! I think they make it clear that booking doesn't guarantee you get it as walk-ins are clearly more important to them!!!

It is an easy location and the staff helpful. Hotel does need to be freshened up, WiFi very poor. Rooms on ground floor car park side not very quiet. The staff do all they can and as usual the beds are comfy. There is plenty of parking, which is free of charge.

Nathaniel was extremely kind and helpful!!! Great member of staff Very welcoming and lovely to talk to Asked about food and local area and was very informative. Room was lovely and clean Nothing to change or improve this time :) Thankyou so much!

We had a very pleasant stay.. The Hotel manager Kay is a credit to you. She made us feel welcome and helped us with some information. The whole team were friendly and nothing was to much trouble. The hotel was clean and we could see work is in progress to freshen up the hallways.

The room quality was great as expected. The staff were a massive help and so polite. Rooms cleaned and spotless and we all slept amazingly well and would highly recommend this hotel. Came to visit family. I use the chain a lot and I’ve never been disappointed

Night porter made my wife very uncomfortable and she felt quite unsafe with the amount of staring he did at her even whilst she walked away he continued to stare then put us in a room with huge cobwebs above the bed however the bed was comfortable and the shower pressure was excellent

And what you get is friendly staff, clean, tidy, fresh rooms & bathrooms, stacks of towels, free parking, a better than usual Beefeater pub next door with a bowling alley & ice rink 2 mins walk away. A Lidl across the road for onward journey provisions... what's not to like! Well done all.

Clean linen, bed comfy, staff friendly. Only down side is first thing in the morning very loud hearing every guest leaving, doors being closed and them having showers. No chance of a lie in unfortunately Room clean, shower pleasant, easy booking

Lovely sized family room met my needs and had a good stay. Plenty of parking though can get busy on a Friday and Saturday night. Not in town centre but near lots of amenities and public transport of you need that staff all really nice beefeater next door does amazing food and 2 kids eat free per adult for breakfast or you have lidls over the road for pastries if you prefer. Never had any issues and will continue to stay here when I'm down visiting family

Room was tired and needing upgrading. Carpet had ingrained dirt embedded in it. Bathroom was dated with staining at back of toilet and shower curtain over bath. Rainfall shower head had water running down the hose rather than through the shower head itself. Bed was comfortable with very good pillows (extra pillows in bag on top of wardrobe). No plug sockets near bed but usb port available instead so only 1 device can be charged close to the bed. Friendly staff at reception and in Beefeater although limited menu available (OK if you like chips every night) would've liked some mash potatoes and curry and rice on the menu??? Some of the chips were hard and inedible and be mindful of some king prawns not being cooked enough!!! Very rushed through evening meal from starter to main and once dessert was finished (literally) the bill was placed immediately on the table.

We stayed as using the entertainment park next door. Free parking is plentiful which is great. I'd booked and paid online but still check-in took aaaaggggeeeessss. People in front of us has lots and lots of questions. We must have waited at least 15min and the queue was growing. Self check-in must be possible, surely??? Rooms fine but one of rooms had a problem with toilet taking a very long time to refill. Very good night's sleep and attached Beefeater was good too. Would have been 5 stars if checking in had not been so slow.
