Boutique & Design Hotel Volkshaus Basel

其實挺一般的，我是被小紅書種草來的 首先，地理位子遠。離巴塞爾車站步行20分鐘，在河的另一邊。雖然大部分的路比較好走，但主要的景點：車站、古城和巴塞爾藝術館都在河這邊，所以不是很方便。我有一種，沒必要為這個酒店走那麼遠的感覺 其次，酒店裝修。小紅書的圖片過於美好了，p圖成分太重。其實比較普通，而且我住四樓，整個過道感覺是剛粉刷的，有油漆味。 最後，服務。check in和out的兩個女服務員都是很明顯的擠出的笑容。只有晚上值班的一個德國小哥讓我覺得認真又熱情。

老宅改造，房間不大，有設計感，有個性，但只有一張小桌，沒法鋪開生活所需。地理位置很贊，出門步行到巴塞爾旅遊和購物熱點。

I thoroughly enjoyed my 3-night stay in Volkshaus Basel in October 2024. The hotel is centrally located and easily accessible by public transport. It’s just a few steps away from Claraplatz and very close to Mittlere Brucke. The bus stop for the bus to the Vitra Design Museum (a must for art and design enthusiasts) is just across the street. There’re supermarkets and many shops in the lively neighbourhood. Upon my arrival at the hotel around 12:30, I was delighted to be told that my room (Room 103) was ready. The signature design room was very spacious with a contemporary design, modern facilities and the original floor plan by the world famous Swiss architects Herzog & de Meuron who designed the hotel. There’re large windows and a lot of natural light. Although it’s on the first floor and facing the street, there’s only little noise thanks to good sound proofing measures. Breakfast was included in the room rate and served in the bar during the week and in the brasserie on weekends. There’s a large selection of food. The staff will cook you eggs upon request. All the staff were professional, courteous and helpful. I made my booking well in advance and enjoyed a very good price. So, it’s advisable to reserve early. I highly recommend Volkshaus Basel and will definitely choose to stay there again if I visit the city in the future.

When can I return?!!! Loved this place so much. Polished yet warm staff who are more than happy to direct you to the many attractions in Basel. Rooms are clean and beautifully designed. Beds are very comfortable with classic simple duvet. Well equipped hospitality stations on each floor feature great coffee, apples and carafes of water. Breakfast buffet is continental but absolutely mouth watering with loads of variety. Artists and business professionals will all enjoy their stay.

The Volkshaus Hotel is simply perfect. ALL staff are very friendly, helpful, speak English perfectly as well as German. Rooms are just beautiful, clean and modern. The bar is quaint and has great energy. It is a must to also eat at their restaurant! Erich, our waiter, was superior! He made great recommendations as well as provided fantastic service. This hotel is also very centrally located to easily catch the trolley system and trolley 6 took us to all attractions for FREE! I highly recommend!
