The Three Hills

Very comfortable room in the guest house, only improvement woukld have been too build everything a foot budget all round! It was very very warm in the room but that's better than getting cold! Communication was good and we were well looked after. We would return.

We had a fantastic overnight stay at the Three Hills in Bartlow, staying in Rosetta on the ground floor of the seperate lodge. The room was beautiful and well appointed with smart TV, radio, coffee machine with excellent selection of capsules, and even a silent mini fridge stocked with milk. The shower was roomy and had really good pressure to wake us up in the morning. We travelled with our dog, and had a dog bed, pillow, bowls and treats waiting for her on arrival! We had the vegetarian full english breakfast the next morning, which was excellent quality and the beetroot pudding was a new one for me and really good. Service was really good, warm, friendly and relaxed. Will definitely be back again.

A really enjoyable evening again at this fantastic pub. The food here at the moment is exceptional. A great menu which is changed regularly, and has great specials. As always local game with a twist, and fantastic fish. Very good atmosphere. Good service. Partridge tempura with sweet chilli sauce was one of the best ideas. Really delicious, moist and crunchy. The special fish dish was Sea bass fillet with Goan curry sauce and a potato rosti, absolutely fantastic and a lovely change from usual fish menus. Fish pie is really good with huge prawns and scallops inside. The guineafowl also very delicious. The starter of Pigs cheek with cauliflower Bon Bon and apple was very well received as a main course for an older lady with a smaller appetite. As always a very good wine list too! Unfortunately we were too full to order pudding, but the menu looked great. Thank you to all the kitchen team and front of house for another lovely evening.

Thoroughly enjoyed a 2 night stay for a wedding anniversary. Room was clean, very comfortable with good facilities. Staff were more than helpful and friendly at all times and it was lovely for the chef to ask us about our meals on every occasion. Meals - breakfast and evening - were of a high quality for which we had no complaints. Our one gripe was that we couldn't get BBC 1 and Pointless on our room TV. Overall we recommend The Three Hills very highly.

A very comfortable and enjoyable stay at this outstanding establishment. It is a cross between a pub and a hotel, and achieves excellence in both categories. The room was very tastefully furnished, and was warm and extremely comfortable. The dinner was excellent; delicious and served by delightful cheerful and helpful staff. This theme continued the next morning with a really good breakfast. I would have preferred a real cask ale to the beers on tap, but that did not detract from the enjoyable time we had. I highly recommend staying at The Three Hills

We stayed in the guest house for two nights and enjoyed a very welcoming room. Very comfortable and high standard of in room coffee and tea provided. Excellent breakfast provided that filled us up for the day. All in extremely enjoyable with attentive staff, will definitely stay again when we are in the area again.
