Travelodge Barrow in Furness

In arrival I was told that booking in was only at 3pm and on my email letter of confirmation it clearly stated 2pm. It looked as if the lady DS not believe me and so I fortunately had the confirmation email on my phone to show her. She then told me she would make and exception and allow me to book in an hour earlier! I find it frustrating that I should even hear the word “exception” as I was not in the wrong in the first place. The only other suggestion I have is that there should be a non-slip mat available to use in the shower as well as a handle to hold onto when showering and wanting to wash one’s feet. I am sure you have mane elderly visitors and it would prevent them from slipping in the shower in the slippery floor and falling. Apart from these two things I slept well and found the view over the pond with the birds a lovely one. All nice and clean and can recommend the hotel as a safe one to stay over.

Easily the best no frills accommodation! Nice and quiet room, easily controllable heating, good size bed, and a little tub in the bathroom for a relaxing soak. Free carpark too.

Rooms are clean, parking is free, our reception staff were Faye and Tina both are very friendly and caring always up for a chat or advise. Could not of asked for more thank you. Deffo will stay tgere againCosta is just opposite Asda is a short walk away.

Stopped here to see family. Lovley clean rooms and friendly staff who are happy to help with anything. Quite room with a view of the pond at the back, room was a good size with space to have the 4 of us without feeling over crowded. Thanks for everything we will be back!!

I just stayed here for a brief visit to see friends and family. The travelodge is very clean and comfortable, it's no frills accommodation but that's all you need when visiting, a comfortable warm room and hot shower. Right near the retail park. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be returning here.
